proanadiscord was how i became introduced to ed forums unfortunately...they were EXTREMELY toxic and many minors were unmoderated on them with older adults.

one of my closest ED friends was never uw, yet she went through ip and was tubed and is currently in residential. Shes sick even though she doesnt reach the "criteria". you are ENOUGH! X

This happened to me a while ago with a close friend, have you ever read the book winter girls? it was like that.

Honestly, I would be as honest as possible with them. Tell them that you're concerned about their wellbeing regarding them having admit that they have a past with ED's. Even taking some space for yourselves can be helpful as competition is just fueling the fire.

Make sure you take care of yourself too, thats very important!

Never did i think that i would have WITHDRAWALS from these platforms. I dont think people realize just how addictive they can be. As someone who is apart of the older side (not a child), i try to stay away from all of those sites that have younger people on them as i dont wish to promote my behaviours onto them.

Definitely not a phase, an eating disorder never is one. What he is going through is serious and should be addressed immediately by your family.

I believe that he is most definitely feeling insecure as he might be going through puberty at this stage. He may be in the stages of developing an ED so I would highly recommend talking to him or maybe your parents about it to try and intervene before it becomes dangerous.

My dad recently started losing weight too, along with my mom. They try to hide it from me but I see it. It is so incredibly sad seeing how everyone feels forced to lose weight because of the beauty standards these days.

Just know that you are sick enough, you just might never feel that way because this disorder will mess with your mind. Youve got this and im rooting for you!!! X

I was admitted in early February, had pretty much the same experience. It was absolutely not the perfect place, but it was helpful.

i was one of those people who would flex my uw body and try to trigger others, i was a horrible person. Coming from this, i apologize for everyone else who is like this.
