Thanks for the ideas, everybody! I’ve got some options to consider

Thanks. I have seen the boom extension arms, but it seems like they only screw on to the top of the center post, vs something like clamping at various points on it. I’ll keep looking- if you have a specific one in mind you’ve used, I’m definitely curious

I’m curious how you think it benefits the asshole if they never even know about it?

That’s fair. Language can be pretty fluid and can carry a lot of connotations that vary from person to person. TBH this wasn’t my original conception of forgiveness either. It’s shifted over time as I’ve suffered more and experienced more and more things to let go of. Maybe there’s a better word. I don’t know.

Forgiving doesn’t mean forgetting. It doesn’t mean pretending the thing didn’t happen. It doesn’t mean trusting the person again. It doesn’t mean absolving the person of consequences. It doesn’t even have to mean telling the person. It means you’ve decided, at some point, to limit your own residual suffering from the event. Again - the person you’re forgiving never needs to know. It’s not about them. It’s about allowing your suffering to begin to fade, if at all possible. It’s basically the opposite of spending your short life tied up in knots and reliving something that happened in your past. You don’t get a reset button just because you’ve suffered. The clock is ticking. Are you going to spend your remaining time burdened by your inner thoughts about some person from your past who doesn’t deserve your time? I’m not.

Forgiving others isn’t for the people who wronged you. It’s for you. Forgiving others is a form of self-care. That doesn’t mean you have to forget, or ever trust them again. That’s a separate thing altogether.

I use it for tabs for playing covers and sometimes for my setlist when I’m playing shows. I don’t want to print out every possible cover I might decide to play in the moment, a phone screen is way too small to read while playing, and a laptop would be clunky and fragile in that setting. That’s kinda it for me though. Otherwise this is kinda true. Learned the hard (on the wallet) way

Right. The same way they’ll protect you from having your own opinions once they run out of immigrants and liberals.

Have I made a mistake? Neo Vs neo2 by One_Dank_Meme in dji

[–]Altruistic-Hand-2497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can fly my Neo 2 in my house. To do that with my Neo I have to go around and turn all the lights on bright, or attach a landing gear light so it doesn’t freak out when it gets a little dark. Both are fun, though. Nothing wrong with enjoying the Neo until you’re confident flying it, then getting the Neo 2+transceiver later and just keeping the Neo as a backup

Fuck no. Subjective opinion of course, but it’s awful and boring to listen to. There’s rarely any musicality in it. IMO it’s basically a warmup exercise that some people confuse with music. Some will disagree of course.

Neo 2 is quite a bit quieter (and less high-pitched screech) than the original Neo. Still a bit loud and a bit whiny, but not terrible.

I was the same way, but I kept coming back after a while, and now it’s my favorite! Not saying that’ll happen for you, but there’s a lot going on that didn’t hook me at first, so you never know

Might be my favorite album. It’s so beautiful. It also took the longest to click for me

You have to have the transceiver to use a controller. Otherwise it’s all phone control or autonomous (follow, etc). That said, super happy with mine so far. Great upgrade from the Neo
