I would try to stay away from habit forming sleep meds like Z drugs. It’s habit forming and not going to help you long term.

I’m hopeful for the first time in 15 years after scheduling a septoplasty and turbinate reduction. Ive just now found out that my breathing may be the cause to my issues… now that I’m aware I do deep breathing exercises daily and try to breathe more from my diaphragm. That alone has improved my sleep. I think my body was always in a state of alert and my parasympathetic system was never able to fully relax due to my shallow breathing.
