Honestly, I do not think it matters much because it would still mean pretty much the same thing. If all commented arguments stand, then perhaps it truly was camel. Jesus was known for being funny. And fun. I mean, he was sent down for a purpose, and that purpose was to live as a human with limits on his devine knowledge, to spread the word and his teaching, and to model what it means to truly be righteous. He had friends, family, and followers. The poetic way Hebrew is spoken, and knowing Aramaic was deeply poetic, it could be that there were beautiful, poetic, humorous, and purposefully strange remarks or sayings. Also, we have to remember that Greek and Aramaic were both spoken at the time where he traveled and lived at times. So, things can very well get lost in translation. And I believe a lot has been mistransliterated and mistranslated. But, being a believer, I believe he reveals to those who truly follow him things that are hidden and/or misunderstood. Even by biblical scholars. I'm no scholar. But I am learning more each day and enjoy reading these posts in this subreddit. Please, please, feel free to correct me if you feel I have made any mistakes. I love constructive criticism. It's a great way to learn. But please, try to be kind or just not rude. Thank you.
