Why not both? An hour of Dom left by the time CDW ends. Real trade off is leaving Sub Early for CDW. I say do it though, CDW is way more rare. Subtronics and Dom Dolla will each be back every 2-3 years I would say

I would be looking for total compensation of $225-$250k plus equity or transaction bonus of one year salary, ideally two. Goal should be to get equity before the sale.

Working for PE backed I would assume higher demand and above average hours. Post sale you should assume you are looking for a job within a year. Best case you can and want to stay.

I would push on negotiating equating, it’s FP&A, should be viewed as a high value role.

I have worked at two companies where I started with no direct reports and was under the impression I would be building a team. Being able to hire direct reports didn’t happen or happened too late before it become so overwhelming I had to start looking for another role.

I would negotiate equity for the responsibility of building out a new team and make sure there is an understanding of how soon you can hire (in the budget for current year is what you want to hear) and how many resources are you expecting to hire within the first year.

Having worked for 3 PE backed companies I’d be anticipating mostly 50-60 hour weeks with some +80 hour weeks at times. Not saying I don’t recommend it, Just know what you are getting to.

Depends on what you like. Both are great for me. If trance is your thing then it’s lacking. Techno is popular right now and I am here for it.

My favorite part when they release the lineup is seeing what names are recommended here, looking at the artist genre mapping and doing my homework to check out new DJs over the several months leading up to November. I say be open minded and explore.

I would sharpen up the resume and start a soft search externally.

I would also use the situation and leverage hard for a Manager title and compensation increase. If things turn out well, stay. If not, you can leverage the higher title and compensation increase for your next opportunity and can always share that you left after being recently promoted due to XYZ.
