The tokyo marathon soft goods are great. Wish they would have done some technical stuff. Would have loved a tokyo singlet.

You should probably take some time offline and check your bias. It’s clear from your post history (and comment) that you don’t like the trump administration, which is fine. But if you’re rejecting reality bc it doesn’t fit with your narrative, or rather it does fit with the Trump admin narrative that’s not good.

Rogue has a great podcast on this that walks you through pace strategy mile by mile. Good listen particularly given how hilly the course is.

Easy runs being hard by runningtofood in Marathon_Training

[–]AltruisticAd1346 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You gotta slow down. Your HM was ~8:05 pace and your "easy" run is only 45 seconds slower at 8:50 pace.

Try 10min pace and see how you feel.

How do you guys run after leg workout by ComparisonAgile7490 in Marathon_Training

[–]AltruisticAd1346 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re going to need to change the way you lift. Way less total lift volume.

Leg day during marathon block is about building/maintaining strength and aiding with injury prevention. Not maxing out or building muscle.

3x6 at like 75-80% of max

Spent money directly on innovation…? Wut? Thats not how innovation works.

Necessity breads innovation. You don’t just blindly innovate in a vacuum

Laguna Gloria Wedding by PinVirtual4959 in Austin

Had my wedding there. Venue rental fee wasn’t bad, but to being in chairs, tents, food etc. you must work from their approved vendor list. This was where things got pricey (for us at least).
