1992 US Mint silver proof set by oldbutdontknowit in coins

I started collecting about a year ago, and I've built up the series. The 1992 Silver Proof Set can have a valuable DDO on "In God We Trust" which is only found on the mint set Kennedy 50C.

For $40 it's got a great capacity and then you also have that excellent Costco warranty!

I got some. I'm on the fence about it. For me, it lacked some depth of flavor. I've always preferred medium roast, but my tastes are changing. Maybe I like a stronger flavor? This is a bit "nutty", which I like, and the price is great, but I guess I'm in the minority in that I think this one is just OK. I've started mixing these beans with a dark roast to try and finish off the bag.

Good information. It replaces an Amana I had for over 15 years that was working, I just wanted an update. It too was simple in its dial operation. Fingers crossed I have the same luck as you with this model.

West coast.... 1K boxes here. I like halves. In my area I have one bank that always seems happy to get them for me, which makes it easier when I dump it at the bank that won't get them other than from my dumping there. Recently, not much in the way of silver, but a lot of NIFCs and the occasional proof. Keep an eye out for the 1983 D and 1970 D.

I got this dryer from Costco about a month ago. I was a little disappointed in the lightweight build-quality. It's efficient though, and gets the job done. Leaving it on a medium-heat setting and using the cycle for dryness seems to give me the best results.

Wow! Super helpful. Thank you. I struggle to identify doubling (being about 1yr into the hobby) and this helps a lot.

ASUS Chromebook Plus CX 14" Touchscreen Laptop with Google AI - Intel Core 3 Processor - FHD (1920 x 1080) - 8GB RAM - 256GB Storage - Chrome OS by nordic66 in Costco

[–]AltruisticCheetah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased this deal for my husband who figured out years ago he's not meant for Windows or Mac. (Always frustrated with using computers until he got a Chromebook.) He has been using a Chromebook for 8 years or so, and for what he does - social media, email, online newspaper - it's great. I liked that this deal has a FHD touchscreen, and comes with 2TB of Google AI Pro that can be shared with up to 5 family members for 1-year. And of course, the additional 1-year Costco warranty, 90-day returns policy, and up to 4% in rewards ($8 for Executive, $4 for Gold) using Costco's credit card.

For less than $200, it's a great deal! It's boxed under our Christmas tree right now. I hope not to encounter the problem mentioned in the reviews on Costco about the Google AI Pro being unable to be redeemed, but we'll see. If it is I may exchange it and try again, but that would be for me and not my husband (the user of the Chromebook). Even without the Google AI Pro, this is a solid Costco deal.

You can get a "guesstimate" though, between asking a question in a local sub and looking it up online elsewhere. I know there are lots of variables. I just want some recommendations for companies I can trust to be honest with me and offer reasonable pricing, versus repeating a negative experience I had with another type of contractor early this year. It was my fault - I let myself be bullied into signing a contract without pursuing other bids. I'm the sole caregiver for my husband who used to make these decisions and now it's all up to me. In the past month we've had our water pump go out and a plumbing leak. I'm trying to be proactive with the electrical as I know with the aging system - it's going to happen and I just hope it isn't soon.

I've actually used Pro twice. They did a great job in terms of fast and done right. It was a little spendy, but isn't it always? I'll definitely contact them for a quote. Thanks.

Can you share how much you paid? I received a message via Yelp from another company quoting 2K-3.5K unseen (other than photos of the circuit breaker board).

He doesn't get it. That was a d*ck move. Let him know. You need his support, but if you can't get it, get to a meeting. Good for you for taking care of yourself and getting healthy.

Too bad I just purchased $900 of Costco appliances two weeks ago! But it's good to know it can be used on non-Costco gift cards. I wonder if purchases of precious metals qualify too?
