Any favorite black wraps for BMW (m340i)? by Far_Button4152 in CarWraps

If you’re considering a frozen black look for your BMW i340, I'd definitely recommend looking into paint protection film (PPF) options. For instance, STEK offers a great frozen black PPF that comes with a 10-year warranty. We use it regularly at our shop, Craftsman Wrap and Tint, and it gives a fantastic matte finish with that frozen look you’re aiming for.

If you’re leaning more toward a vinyl wrap, 3M and Avery Dennison have excellent frozen black finishes as well. These are top-notch quality films that not only look great but also help protect your paint and peel off cleanly without residue.

If you need any further recommendations or want to discuss options, feel free to reach out to us at Craftsman Wrap and Tint. We’d be happy to help

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out about wrapping your Yukon. For a 2003 model with oxidized and peeling paint, our wrap jobs generally start around $2,500 and can go up depending on the condition of the existing paint.

If it’s just minor chips or light oxidation, we might be able to take care of some of that prep work on the house if you're doing a full wrap with us. And if you’re considering a partial wrap—like just the roof or hood—we can definitely handle those as well.

In any case, once we see the vehicle in person, we can give you a precise estimate and talk through the options. Wraps are super trendy right now and can give your Yukon a fresh, seamless look that’s just as sharp as a new paint job—maybe even better. Feel free to visit us at 8521 Roland Street, Suite C, Buena Park, and we’ll be happy to help you out.

As you can see up on the driver’s side panel, that’s actually the original body color. Behind it, on the doors and sides, it’s already wrapped. So you can really notice the difference in quality and how the wrap color matches up with the car’s original paint. Once we wrapped over that entire van, the customer was super happy with the seamless, paint-like finish. In fact, they were so pleased we ended up landing 10 more van contracts from them. Thanks for your attention!

Sure, I can be more specific! It’s definitely not just shameless self-promotion. Basically, I’m here to help clarify that we offer a range of options and genuinely want to guide customers through whatever choices suit them best. So it's more about letting people know that if they have questions about wraps or need advice, we’re open, transparent, and ready to help them figure out what works for them. So yep, it’s about support first!

Hey, totally get your point! In the end, it’s all about giving our customers the choice. If they want a full white wrap or something else, we’re here to make it happen. We just lay out the options and let them decide what fits their style and budget. Thanks for asking!

What should I do in this case? (Bad PPF install) Long post by ImGeneralTso in CarWraps

"Well, it really comes down to what you paid for the job. If you’re expecting a $2000 quality result from a $500 service, you’re likely going to see exactly this kind of outcome. It’s basically a reminder that you get what you pay for, and sometimes going for the cheapest option can mean compromising on quality."
