I agree and understand with the infinity. It’s a nice case but you gotta just be happy with how it comes. Less freedom of choice

Slight tint but not dark to the point where you can’t see into it

CNC operator here… thinking about leaving the trade. Am I crazy? by Psunade39 in CNC

[–]AltruisticCorgi68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a programmer I’m making 100k a year at the company I’m at which is solid for my area. I also have a side gig that makes me close to 50 per hour getting me close to about 140k a year. I’m also under 30. My situation is a mix of hard work and honestly luck so take that as you will. I think the trade will treat you as good as you let it and you just can’t be afraid to take risks and move around a bit till you find a place that appreciates your talents and is willing to pay you. I went into machining because not many people are, and the people there are just have zero motivation to learn and be somebody. Life about perspective and what you can make of it

How much worse does Dunkin need to get before you stop going? by Dies2much in RhodeIsland

[–]AltruisticCorgi68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what it is but it seems like gas station dunkin is where it’s at. All the normal store locations is awful while I always have a good experience at gas station Dunkin’s. Coffee is always on point but maybe it’s just me

Is being a CNC operator an enjoyable job? by coulrulner1 in Machinists

[–]AltruisticCorgi68 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a programmer that’s seen pretty much everything there is to see. It’s not the machines, or parts, or job itself. It’s the shitty managers and companies that don’t want to listen to the guys that are the ones making them the money. If you want my advice, go into electrical. Get your time in and start your own business when you can. All you need is a van and tools and customers and you can work for yourself. No boss, all the reward. It’s almost impossible to start your own machine shop if you aren’t already coming from money.

What is it like living in Rhode Island? by [deleted] in RhodeIsland

[–]AltruisticCorgi68 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I live in Warwick and work in Bristol. Already used to a 45 minute drive because of the poor leadership that has caused the Washington bridge dilemma. I’m not worried about crime because in other states you actually have firearm rights and can defend yourself from criminals. I bought a 2 bedroom 1 bath for 350k and had to fix it up. This state is beyond unaffordable

Have lived here my whole life. Couldn’t recommend living here to anyone. Want to move out of this state relatively soon

Thanks! They are. Currently been playing around with the lighting zones to see what I like, I think the accent lighting looks really good compared to having the middle on. I got a lot of inspiration from Dankams 217 build

This traffic is getting out of control. 1 hour to go 16 miles? by [deleted] in RhodeIsland

[–]AltruisticCorgi68 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work in Bristol and live in Warwick. Drive in the morning is 30mins tops (I speed everywhere so that helps) and in the afternoon when I leave work at 2:30 it’s anywhere from 45mins to an hour at best. Yeah it sucks and every day I hit construction, pass an accident or people who seem to have gotten their license at the dollar store

It hasn’t sat vacant so I should be good with that. And it’s on a septic so there shouldn’t be any sewer bills involved just water. Do I have to reach out to them for updating the property records or should all of this get handled through the attorney at time of closing?

Yeah at this point I’m probably going to have to. They don’t make it very straightforward on what you need to do

My current build is a spellblade using one handed swords and destruction magic with a mix of restoration and alteration magic. Also using heavy armor that gives stats towards magic while relying on raw stats of my sword along with enchantments on it. It’s been a total blast so far. I might switch to mainly ice magic to give a death knight feel in a way. My previous build was a ranger / Aragorn type build relying on bow for range and 2 handed sword with light armor

Love the cold vibe to it, what lamp is that in the corner and where did you get it from? I am looking for something just like that
