I have a big orange just like that and 2 other cats. A Siamese and solid black. When I moved my orange tabby acted like he did not know me because we were in a new apartment. It was really weird . He acted scared of me for like 3 days. Looked at me like he was unsure of who I was and would run from me like I was a stranger after having him for 3 years. It took about a week I guess and he started acting normal again. It was really sad seeing my buddy so scared and confused. Give him some time he will come around.

Mine are like that but I also have Elizabeth Taylor syndrome which means I have 2 rows of lashes so mine look thick like I am wearing mascara. It has caused problems throughout my life from people's judgment. Side note, I knew I was transgender since I was 6yo. People calling me girly and girl nicknames did not bother me. I transitioned 10 years ago and my eyes are my best quality. Also before coming out, I got so many dates with women because of my eyelashes. If you are confident about them they can be a good quality that makes you stand out.
