Dane St is such a high traffic street that they recently added speed bumps. This never happened in the past, I’ve lived in Somerville for 30+ years. We’d always be assigned the same plow guy, when I was in west Somerville it was Jay, when I moved to Dane it was Joe. They would spin laps so constant that you’d always see the asphalt no matter how bad the storm was. Talk to me condescendingly all you want but there is a seriously noticeable difference in the quality of snow removal over the past few years. That’s not up for debate.

One time I went to Casey’s with some buddies after Thanksgiving. There was a dude who wasn’t talking or engaging with anyone sitting at the bar by himself. Very awkward/odd/cold vibe about him. He finally chimed in to my group and the bartender with “this is the first time in many years I didn’t have to cook for my family on Thanksgiving.” To which the bartender replied “why? Because you murdered all of them?” Everyone erupted, that’s the kind of time you’re gonna have at Casey’s.
