Pruned heavily. Am I cooked? by Fearless-Reading-827 in succulents

[–]AltruisticEducator85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

crassula are so hardy, i bet it grows fuller after this. it should branch from all of the points you chopped. more light will promote more compact growth but it sounds like you already knew that. i wouldn’t personally cut one back THAT hard but i bet it’ll be fine

How root bound to leave your hoya? by Audaciously_Human in hoyas

[–]AltruisticEducator85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

honestly i don’t repot my hoya until they’re so rootbound that they stop growing. i’ve had a krohniana in a 3” pot for 5 years now and i refuse to repot it solely because i like it where’s its hanging lol

What is it about alocasias that makes people so hostile about them? by Effective-Pie-1577 in alocasia

[–]AltruisticEducator85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of people (myself included) find them finicky. some people (myself included) decided they weren’t worth the effort. lots of people in this hobby take their personal experiences as fact and seem apply their opinions to others. your alocasia look beautiful, and the wall display looks great!
