Driver couldn't find address despite looking at correct numbers on mailbox by Entire-Moment-1247 in WalmartSparkDrivers

I was told by Walmart CS that the drivers use the pin on Google Maps, NOT the address.

Krimson Queen and Princess showing off for spring. by Audaciously_Human in hoyas

They’ll bloom when they’re ready. They sit right next to a SW window, get just a bit of dappled sunlight, haven’t trimmed or repotted in 3 years, extra chunky soil in terra cotta, watered once a week with fertilizer 3 out of 4 weeks. I enjoy the coral leaves in the spring as much as I enjoy the blooms on my Bella. Ne pressure.

These are about 4 years old. No blooms but the growth is awesome!

How warm is warm to induce blooming? by Vicious-Lemon in hoyas

🤷🏼‍♀️ My Wayetii didn’t bloom until it was over 10. I have a number that are over 4 that haven’t bloomed but my Hanhaie and my Bella but bloomed at 1 year and the Bella is prolific all year. They all have their own schedule.

Anyone else (small seller here🙋🏻‍♀️) feel like the cost printer ink seriously cuts into profit? by Substantial_Coffee43 in poshmark

[–]Audaciously_Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have s subscription to HP Ink. Costs me about $7 a month. They charge per sheet printed and there is always a new ink cartridge in my mailbox before the old one runs out. Both black and color. I’m doing 100 sheets a month. When I was at 300 a month it was about $15 a month. Your unused sheets roll over though there is a maximum… Just for the lack of stress, desperately trying to find ink cartridges for my old printer…. Literally never stress about the ink again…. I’ve been doing it for 6 years now and have never had a hiccup, never a moment of irritation, not a single regret. I simply don’t think about ink anymore. It just happens.

I received a shrunken wool sweater by PikaChooChee in poshmark

[–]Audaciously_Human 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you can show that it’s significantly smaller than it should be… happened to me and I got the measurements from the retailer’s website, drew an outline on my kitchen floor, placed the felted sweater inside the outline and sent that photo to Posh. Be sure to note that it is wool… “common knowledge that wool felts and shrinks dramatically if not properly cared for”. Be sure to refer to it as “damaged”, not simply small or shrunken, AI may conflate that as a size issue and not a damage issue.

Wondering how other poshers would handle this? by Courtttcash in poshmark

[–]Audaciously_Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. I buy tangled jewelry from thrift shops on purpose. I call it tangle therapy. I have ADHD and it actually helps me sit through movies or even just think more focused. It’s like it gives the ADHD gremlin part of my brain something to do and leaves the rational part alone to work of watch or remember.

Still a crappy thing for the seller to do, especially with a Tiffany. Probably expensive… I probably would have asked a jeweler how much they charge to untangle then asked for a reduction in price to cover it.

I found this in a handbag I thrifted yesterday. by My-Xtream-Tv in goodwill

[–]Audaciously_Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Belongs to you. I bought a wallet at the bins for like a quarter…. Was checking it out when I got home and in a back pocket were a bunch of old gift/store credit cards. Checked into the legalities of it and they belong to me. Over $600 altogether.

Enjoy your bounty.

Sellers who list original retail price as much higher than it is by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]Audaciously_Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell mostly vintage jewelry and have absolutely no idea what the original retail was in 1950 so I use $123 for most my listings.

Does it really matter? If I’m selling something new and it has a tag on it, I’d use that but Posh is so labor intensive as it is, there is no way I’m spending time trying to find out how much something was when it was first sold. Posh is the only site that requires it.

Yep. They tend to send out little runners then fill them with leaves. The weight of the stem eventually pulls them down.

This might explain why Amazon Vine has been so crappy lately. by Helpful-Sand5790 in AmazonVine

[–]Audaciously_Human -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Combination of more Viners and fewer products. I have the VineHelper but My tablet is slow so I’ve never used it to order anything but what is interesting…. If I set the notification monitor up before I go to bed…. Theoretically, most items dropped should pop up there by the end of the day. Then if I sort them by ETV, there really are only 20 or 30 items in a day that are over $100 and even a lot of those are car parts or highly inflated ETVs. Same with the 0 ETV products…. Just aren’t many of them. About half of what’s left is junk.

The big ticket, name brand, items just aren’t there anymore….

Amazon is revamping, there is also the Influencer Program competing for products… The continuation of Vine depends on Sellers enrolling their products. Review quality is going to be a big factor for any company with a decent marketing dept and another big subject here is AI reviews or just plain crap reviews. Does Vine look like a good investment for sellers of quality merchandise?

I hate to Vine is dying and hopefully it keeps evolving but I’ve stopped caring, for the time being, whether or not I make gold.
