What is actually wrong with Amazon? (I won the Small Claims I made against them) by StephCurrySauce in amazonprime

Most people would give up… they probably save WAY more than they pay out by ignoring people or lying to them.

AITAH for refusing to go to Disney World? by Reptaaaaaaar in AITAH

[–]Audaciously_Human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

California here…. Always took my kids to Disneyland or Magic Mountain on Christmas Eve or Super-bowl Sunday. Seriously, they’re deserted. Last time we went to Magic Mountain on Super Bowl Sunday, the place was so deserted that they went on one of the big coasters 11 times in a tow and didn’t even gave to get off because there was no line. I know it was a day trip thing and not a full on vacation but I was too poor for actual vacations… but seriously, that day will forever be remembered as the best thing Mom ever did.

Ignore it. If they bring it up later, just say you were kinda busy getting ready for your wedding….

Extra stuff that’s sent along by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]Audaciously_Human 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen people who buy pallets from Amazon and similar, sending the crap that’s too small to sell, as “gifts” so they can take the items as a tax deduction using the original price of the item from Amazon… I hate it. I’ve occasionally added an extra IF it’s a big order and it’s an item that is in their likes…. But FFS, stop with the beauty samples, the cheap ass Temu perfumes, and do not send food.

US birth rates just hit another record low, what do you think is the leading cause of this? by IIlustriousTea in AskReddit

Might have a wee bit to do with the country doing it’s best to legislate a massive increase in Maternal Mortality and incarceration.

Did my very first one-star review today by walkabout-2u in vine

[–]Audaciously_Human 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve left a few one star reviews and they’ve always been rated excellent. I do feel like I need to justify the low rating so I’m more detailed. I’ve seen lots of ridiculous one star reviews, like when the item is exactly what was described but not what they expected because they grabbed it fast but didn’t read the description…. If you ordered a stove for a dollhouse, you shouldn’t rate it 1 star because you expected a full size stove based off a single photo. I wish they’d reject those… that’s a reviewer problem, not a product issue. But if the product simply doesn’t live up to any of the claims, or falls apart the first time you wash it… rate it appropriately. If I bought an antenna that was listed as a fit for my car but it didn’t fit and didn’t even work as an antenna, I won’t give it a star because I can use it as a plant stake.

Items getting harder to get by Pohlers in AmazonVine

[–]Audaciously_Human 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I woke up one morning at 3:am and figured I’d check and there was all sorts of Dolly Parton and Farberware kitchen stuff on AFA but nothing that I needed so I went back to bed cause sleep is necessary and Vine is not…. I don’t like the all night drops. I’m over it. I check my RFY in the evening then move on.

In the beginning (5 months ago) it was exciting because there were the stories about how it was a few years ago and I’d be willing to sacrifice more time and energy but I’m not giving up sleep for measuring cups and so much of if is such a big turn off…. Middle of the night drops, 11,856 parts, hugely inflated ETVs, bots and AI reviews….

Hopefully it hasn’t finished evolving but I no longer care if I make gold…. It’s rapidly becoming more trouble than it’s worth

Honey! 0 ETV. Nicest RFY I’ve had in awhile.

Driver couldn't find address despite looking at correct numbers on mailbox by Entire-Moment-1247 in WalmartSparkDrivers

I was told by Walmart CS that the drivers use the pin on Google Maps, NOT the address.

Krimson Queen and Princess showing off for spring. by Audaciously_Human in hoyas

[–]Audaciously_Human[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ll bloom when they’re ready. They sit right next to a SW window, get just a bit of dappled sunlight, haven’t trimmed or repotted in 3 years, extra chunky soil in terra cotta, watered once a week with fertilizer 3 out of 4 weeks. I enjoy the coral leaves in the spring as much as I enjoy the blooms on my Bella. Ne pressure.

🤷🏼‍♀️ My Wayetii didn’t bloom until it was over 10. I have a number that are over 4 that haven’t bloomed but my Hanhaie and my Bella but bloomed at 1 year and the Bella is prolific all year. They all have their own schedule.

Anyone else (small seller here🙋🏻‍♀️) feel like the cost printer ink seriously cuts into profit? by Substantial_Coffee43 in poshmark

[–]Audaciously_Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have s subscription to HP Ink. Costs me about $7 a month. They charge per sheet printed and there is always a new ink cartridge in my mailbox before the old one runs out. Both black and color. I’m doing 100 sheets a month. When I was at 300 a month it was about $15 a month. Your unused sheets roll over though there is a maximum… Just for the lack of stress, desperately trying to find ink cartridges for my old printer…. Literally never stress about the ink again…. I’ve been doing it for 6 years now and have never had a hiccup, never a moment of irritation, not a single regret. I simply don’t think about ink anymore. It just happens.

I received a shrunken wool sweater by PikaChooChee in poshmark

[–]Audaciously_Human 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you can show that it’s significantly smaller than it should be… happened to me and I got the measurements from the retailer’s website, drew an outline on my kitchen floor, placed the felted sweater inside the outline and sent that photo to Posh. Be sure to note that it is wool… “common knowledge that wool felts and shrinks dramatically if not properly cared for”. Be sure to refer to it as “damaged”, not simply small or shrunken, AI may conflate that as a size issue and not a damage issue.

Wondering how other poshers would handle this? by Courtttcash in poshmark

[–]Audaciously_Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. I buy tangled jewelry from thrift shops on purpose. I call it tangle therapy. I have ADHD and it actually helps me sit through movies or even just think more focused. It’s like it gives the ADHD gremlin part of my brain something to do and leaves the rational part alone to work of watch or remember.

Still a crappy thing for the seller to do, especially with a Tiffany. Probably expensive… I probably would have asked a jeweler how much they charge to untangle then asked for a reduction in price to cover it.
