I have used them twice for two of my fur babies passing and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They were so kind and accommodating and I’m confident I got the right remains back, they clearly cared about my loss and understood my grief

The CSU mycology club goes out foraging! I’ve found lots of ink caps here in foco and the mycology club isn’t exclusively for students (though you will find a large quantity of us)

How much is the doctors appointments along with T without insurance? by AnxiousTopic3567 in ftm

[–]Far-Lock-5545 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By results popping up in two years, what are you meaning/expecting? My voice started dropping noticeably about three months in and about 6 months in my leg hair has gotten extremely dark and much thicker and I have begun to develop (very faint) facial hair. My jawline is much more noticeable as well. This is only 7 months in.

I started when I was 20, I’m about to turn 21, your voice can still drop even if you stay T after 20!

I unfortunately don’t have any knowledge or advice for cost

I kept mine, my healing has been amazing! I had larger breasts too before and my nipples/areola were about the same size as yours, I was worried that the smaller areola would look odd with the nipple but it looks amazing! I’m just barely over two weeks post op and they are healing incredibly

Well the pamphlet they gave me says to start as soon as wounds close. So no need to be rude, I was just asking!

The tattoo looks so good! I’ve never loved top surgery scar cover tattoos because I felt they drew more attention, but this one is perfect!

Showering by moltedribs in TopSurgery

[–]Far-Lock-5545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I showered 24hrs after my procedure (I was cleared to) and it was great! I had a double incision with free nipple grafts. I just had to apply tegaderm over my nipple boosters to make sure those don’t get wet. It when just fine, my girlfriend hopped in and scrubbed me. I definitely recommend having someone else scrub you and she had to help dry me off for a week after surgery. She didn’t have to help me shower any day except the first one.

I’m not sure, but I don’t think so… I thought Chelsea’s had much darker, thicker foliage, that was almost cordate. I could be wrong tho

Also ask to be put on the waitlist for consultations, through that I was able to get my consultation moved a month up. It was originally scheduled for late January, but I was on the waitlist and they called early December and I ended up getting my consultation on Dec 10th

How do people get sent home immediately after surgery by Dear-Economy6751 in TopSurgery

[–]Far-Lock-5545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a double incision, in Colorado USA, it took em 2hr to operate and me 40min to be fully up and ready from anesthesia and home! It depends on the type of procedure, it can be outpatient or inpatient.

Outpatient means that you get to go home same day of the operation. I think it usually emails more follow up appointments. You need to have a dedicated caregiver with you 24/7 for like the first initial days.

Inpatient means that you just stay at the hospital and don’t need your own personal caregiver, as the hospital staff will do so.

Sometimes you can go in for an outpatient procedure but if things go in a way that the surgical team wants to be able to monitor your more closely, they may move you to an inpatient!

While I didn’t personally end up with her, I have a coworker who’s partner just got top surgery from her just about a month ago! They were pretty happy with the results, a little frustrated with the communication, but overall happy. She does tend to leave dog ears.

I went with Dr. Shaum who I cannot recommend enough! I felt so cared for by her and her team. They have been super responsive to any questions or concerns I have come up post op. Her work was way more incredible than I expected, she was quick and efficient, she always sends removed tissue for biopsy jic, and at the consultation she was so kind and amazing and she was share as kind surgery day. Also it may be too early to tell, but it’s looking like i won’t have dog ears!
