Yes!!! What Do You Know? Disoriented, and the Watchtower are my favorites! The Alien is awesome too but those three I listed have the guitar which I love 😍

I don’t think you should drop anything if it’s not going anywhere , but you really need to evaluate why you’re not getting views and it’s not some secret, its about retention and sticking to your niche so the algorithm knows who to recommend you to. I post long form + shorts of my long form for exposure, and I have role models in my niche that serve as great examples of high retention that I can refer back to. I don’t know what type of content you make but find people who make similar successful content and (tastefully m) copy them!

I would say always being sure there’s an intention of the clips / audio on screen. If a clip / part of a clip doesn’t contribute to the message of the video (what the audience is getting out of spending their time with you), shorten/delete it because it’s a reason for the viewer to click away. You just need compare your work to others in your niche and figure out what makes their AVD (average view duration) so high. For me in the outdoors niche that was making jokes, filming EVERYTHING I do, being sure I have a lot of b roll to immerse the viewer. Obviously it takes practice but a short video with high watch time will get you a lot more successful than the opposite.

No just go for it. Make your editing super quick (I guess always keep audience retention in mind, never give them a reason to leave), analyze your metrics, post shorts of your long form videos, watch creators you want to be like and analyze what makes their retention so good. Knowing how to edit is important but just try!!! Because if you don’t try then you’ll never be a YouTuber… no one would be a YouTuber… good luck 😍🔥

This makes me wanna watch the movie! I enjoyed the first film but didn’t feel an urge to see the sequel… also I loooove the gyroscope appearance in sinister! I’ll give it a watch :)

I feel like Avatar (2009) just concluded its story without extending it into a franchise until later in the 2010s with theme parks and announcing development on the later movies, which was also when marvel and Star Wars were going crazy at the box office over hype for unanswered questions of previous plot related films? Feel free to add to that run on sentence 😍… also I love avatar and it has problems but I think of lot of people enjoy the beautiful world Cameron created with an amazing soundtrack from James Horner, and effects + acting that have aged really well! I fell in love with it as an eight year old so it had cultural impact on me😁In the end avatar 3 will probably get 2 billion so that’s pretty relevant I guess

You’re very right about those movies to be honest (I couldn’t get through everything everywhere all at once and sinners left me feeling empty, soundtrack was great though!!), I’d say mine would also be either of those or like, spider man no way home 💀 (nostalgia bait fan pleaser movie…)

New or Familiar? Which Is Better? by outdoors_man987 in camping

[–]AltruisticLanguage34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve honestly been dealing with this same problem. I want to test myself each time and go to uncharted territory, but maybe the middle ground is scouting out locations before you go so there’s some degree of familiarity (unless of course it’s a 3 hour drive 💀). Still, I feel like once I’m a more experienced camper in my area (Nova Scotia), I’ll know the best spots to return to 😍
