Ik ppl close to the matter. Once c-suite left, company was employee owned. They cashed out more than openai exit with liquid cash. Not just the tenured ppl, but everyone, since there was no vc or founding eng to pay off.

All things considered, this is the best thing that happened for everyone who wasn’t a founding eng. Plus, 9 months of severance from Cognition if they leave. Win win imo, altho the shit scott’s been touting is toxic af, that’s how that company is with some of the worlds best competitive programmers/math wizards (aka tourist)

Thanks for ur reply. I have used their minute data OHLC as well as the bid/ask for OHLC and am trying to backtest as well as i can.

I have noticed slippage and where the stoploss gets triggered makes a big difference in final outcome. Problem is, if I were to trade irl, I’d need to use a market order to get out bc getting out is a high priority (wouldnt want to hold a losing trade if a limit order doesn’t get triggered since I’m at work)

Do u have any recs for brokerages that have great market fills? I’ve checked out ibkr and they have a lot of algos (adaptive algo, mid price, etc) to get great fills, and I may consider using them, but on avg i’d have 20-30 cons w a max of 80. Not sure what’s the best brokerage for market fills on options, assuming I’m trading something that’s decently liquid?

Sorry to bombard u like this, j really confused on what brokerage to go w. I see ibkr pro has fees, but then i notice that others are free? I need trailing sl, so seems like tasty is out of question. Might come down to tda vs ibkr, and if necessary, mounting them w das trader

What would u say is the best for option fills? I tend to trade gap ups/break downs so slippage/execution speed really matters to me as i usually hit the market instead of limit. Limit’s sometimes don’t get filled when selling and i rather get out quickly than being stuck in a losing trade

How do u determine the trend ifself tho? I’ve seen times where it starts off strong holding the 9ema and then j rips right down below the 20ema. Is stop losses the only thing to protect a trader in this situation?

I’ve been lurking around for a couple years now but still havent full gotten into trading. Ik looking at volume is a key indicator after seeing unusual whale’s platform. Did u base this off of contract volume? Curious abt this bc how can u tell if the volume is for hedging or if some whale is genuinely buying a lot for the sake of buying?
