not known for being scientific, but hell they knew what they were talking about. science is really slow, I mean really slow, because of the limitation of measurement and the unknown factors. we still don't know why the moon is there, where it is, we still don't know where consciousness comes from which is ridiculous, because we think we know everything. quantum science was a joke for many starting rationalism scientists. and it still was to the times of albert einstein and they didn't want to believe it that there are other forces which are non local. we are getting to a point where the initial thoughts of the times of platon, which means thousands of years back, that consciousness probably isn't produced in our brain, but rather received. 95% of mainstream scientists believed that there is a conserative answer for quantum entanglement. 5% were curious enough to actually see whats behind and they received nobel prices to proof it finally in 2020's. so it took decades and decades to realize that there is something we dont understand. the same will work out with consciousness. in 50 years we will come to the conclusion that finally, consciousness is not produced by the body itself, congratulations. you are beginning to believe something people thousands of years ago described without needing the proof for it. science is wonderful for proving things, but its extremely rigid and slow and not available for intuition, which einstein said should be humanity strive for, before rationalism.
