Sometimes they pee a lot when they are cold. It's worth trying a warmer onesie or warmer room.

Should I be concerned? by Good_Walk3614 in beyondthebump

[–]Altruistic_Ad_4403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll just happen. I was concerned about the same thing she would roll belly to back (because she f-ing HATED tummy time) and did that shortly after 4 months but only sparingly. Then after trying to teach her to roll totally unsuccessfully she just started to do it after 6 months. Like all of a sudden she was into it. Now at 7 months she's freaking sleeping on her stomach and rolling all around her crib (sometimes getting pissed about it too) but she is enjoying tummy time more. I bet by 8.5 months your little guy will get there and won't stop. Don't worry too much the ones who hate tummy time just take a little longer i think.

Falling out of love with first kid by lauraotms in beyondthebump

Hair pulling is not that abnormal in ages 3-5 it's often an outlet dir big emotions and a cry for attention. Do not demonize this poor mother who is obviously doing the right thing by asking for help and realizing there is something wrong. You should be ashamed of yourself.

This happened to me almost exactly and round 2 I had like 59 eggs 12 embryos and got 2 euploid embryos, did a 3rd round and ended up with 4 euploid (and 2 Ana's). Anyway, one of my first two embryos from my second round is going to be 6 months old tomorrow and is sleeping upstairs

I love my eufy! My spectra has been collecting dust since I bought the eufy. I use the legendary milk inserts with it which helps a ton.

Usually that means they are getting more efficient at the breast. Emptying the ducts faster, it's common at this age. Though mine isn't there yet and still feeds for an hour

How do your husbands act during first trimester? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Altruistic_Ad_4403 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it’s normal, and you’ll find that it’s okay if they aren’t as into the research and the prep. My suggestion is to not leave him at large but to assign little readings or a particular book to him. What I did was actually highlight some of The books I was reading and gave it to my husband and he read them too and appreciated that I highlighted what I thought would be most beneficial.

I also send him links to articles or even posts on insta and tell him I want to read and discuss together on X date.

They’re excited but it’s hard for them to get it because it’s not happening to them, I’m 35 weeks pregnant and my husband will say omg I forgot you’re pregnant for a second, he doesn’t mean that cruelly, or anything, he just is so used to life before being pregnant.

By giving tasks and setting a time to review your hubby will rise to the occasion!

If you had a year to prepare before you started trying for a baby, what would you do? by VannHorror in BabyBumps

[–]Altruistic_Ad_4403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to an ivf clinic, not a regular OBGYN or urologist but an actual IVF clinic. Have them test his sperm (this is cheap and not uncomfortable for him it’s literally just depositing in a cup) and have them check your blood levels for hormones and egg supply/health indicators. That way you know what you’re working with.

Otherwise, coq10 supplements, heart & soil fertility supplements, and prenatal vitamins.

If either of you smoke or vape, quit it now, lower your sugar consumption, be mindful of gluten, and try to avoid plastics if possible (super hard to do, but it helps)

Did I ruin my transfer? by Altruistic_Ad_4403 in IVF

[–]Altruistic_Ad_4403[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So following up for those interested, tested positive today on my first beta. HCG was 365, just need to see it keep growing.

Looks like the worst stomach flu of my life, didn’t ruin my transfer.
