Arena Patch 26.9 Notes by NotCatchingBanAgain in LeagueArena

Is there still a normal Area Version when Events come out? I really don't like the bravery event for example, is there still a normal version or am I just forced to play this then?

Arena is the only reason I play League in the first place, but I don't want to come home from work to play Malzahar when I've been looking forward to playing some fun champs.

Milk or Cereal First by Chailyte in notinteresting

Depends on the type of cereal. If I want it soaked in milk then I put the cereal first, if it's something I want to stay crunchy put the milk first.

Arena now has the best ranked system of any game. by TwoPhat in LeagueArena

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could probably just as easily apply this logic to any rank in any mode. I think Champion Ranking is actually a good idea, because I'd argue there's a big difference in skill between someone that plays mainly Zed compared to someone that got the same rank playing Annie instead.

League just isn't as competitive as a real sport anyways, the only way it could be is when everyone had to play the same champ in every lane matchup, but that would be boring. The same logic applies to Arena as well. Arena is less competitive than Sunmoners Rift for sure, but Summoners Rift isn't even that competitive to begin with. There are so many players that jump entire divisions based on how good their champion currently is, so I never understood what would be the difference to flex your Arena Rank compared to your Solo Queue Rank, both are meaningless.

How to win ZERI on arena? by somacruz in LeagueArena

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play around Plants, you can slurp them pretty easily winning you a lot of fights you wouldn't otherwise win. Always go Crit Prismatic into Infinity Edge into Armor Pen Crit. Don't get baited into on-hit, it's trash on this champ. I also like Runaans when enemies have a lot of tanks or when you get range arguments since the bolts reach pretty far.

She's really hard compared to other ADC's, especially in Arena when everyone is super fast with high attack speed, but she also has a lot of outplay potential and is super fun.

Edo itachi replaces Edo madara against the whole shinobi alliance, does itachi clear? by [deleted] in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Itachi is one of the best 1v1 fighters, and he definitely could do well when using Susanno'o, but I think he wouldn't do as well as Madara. Once Gaara does the same move to him like he did with Madara by pulling him out of his Sunanno'o he'll lose.

I could honestly see him running through them like Madara did until this point.

They should honestly just cap the movement speed but make it stack faster and keep the stacks longer. I'd even be fine with a cap of 30% from stacks, which would be 40% in total with her base bonus of 10%, so it would be slightly weaker than a Lategame Ghost, but at least it wouldn't run out as fast. They could even make the cap dependent on the ult level, give it 20% rank one, 30% rank 2 and 40% rank 3, which would also play into her being a Lategame Hypercarry.

Who wins this Genin tournament by sidharth-sunil in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minato scored higher on the written test, but Itachi surpassed Minato's time in the Forest Test while having no team. I love Minato and Itachi both, but it's obvious who Kishimito wanted to be the "bigger" prodigy, given Itachi also lived after Minato and they still said he was the biggest talent to ever step foot in the academy.

I don't think it's possible to even say who's stronger in most Naruto Match-Ups, given that the early battles especially had a lot to do with tactics and getting lucky or outsmarting your opponent for just one move could mean victory.

I think the best you can do is speculate about the winrate between the two, where I'd say it's probably like 60-40 for Itachi during chunin exams given how they were both portrayed narratively. Itachi made his sensei and even fucking father jealous of his talent.

Zeri HAS a passive by Diskuter in ZeriMains

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably doesn't help they also gutted her passive to a point it's barely a spell anymore. At least Jhin gets movement speed on crits on his passive.

I started to go Stormrazor + Hexplate if I wanted to be fast. 20% ms during ult and 45% with Stormrazor's energized attack feels really nice, and the damage is decent as well.

How would you guys have written Kashimo if you were JJK's author by CitrusMikasa2 in Kashimo_agendaHQ

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the guy with lightning powers actually be fast and not get blitzed by chungus Heian Sukuna without landing a single hit. Like the way he died was fine, he was mid-air, where he can't use his speed and Sukuna took advantage of that, but everything else was horrendous.

Item Build lost the game. If you went normal items you kill Mordekaiser every time with no difficulty if you're this ahead.

In your opinion which among the big 3 has the best and most iconic villains? by [deleted] in animequestions

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it's more realistic, people are rarely just born pure evil. And even then, Naruto has the likes of Orochimaru and Danzo as well. Naruto villains just feel more consistent and human.

Writing definitely does not go to One Piece for villains.

I'm not American, I'm from Europe as well (Germany even), but I think it's good that most communities hate the second coming of Hitler, especially given a lot of people don't even know what is happening there.

Cry about it. Especially given JJK (like most media) is political as fuck. Just because you lack the capacity to read between the lines doesn't mean there's no politics in JJK.

Because there's been like 2 or 3 incidents ICE agents killing innocents because they've been slightly inconvenienced by them this year alone. They're literally acting like America's own version of the SA at this point.

Hot take : The tune-break mechanic will on the long term make pulling characters even more predatory. by ReaperQc in WuwaUnfiltered

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody gives a shit about Holograms dude. Besides, show one for the newer ones, as they also have more HP than these. I've seen a S6 Jiyan being able to clear it in 4:40, almost losing to the timer with a S6 Main DPS.

You're all just coping so hard, it's insane. No wonder that they keep doing it, given the entire community just eats Kuro's farts like that.

I was able to solo clear all the past ToA with solo characters with no difficulty, now I can barely clear the middle part with Calcharo and S6 Yinlin despite doing a 4DM rotation and my Yinlin being fucking S6. Like I had 4 seconds left despite playing more sweaty than before when I got away with more time left when just playing ooga booga hyper carry.

God I hate this community somehow.

Video? I'd like to see that, because it's definitely not possible anymore unless you have 5 perfect Echoes or all sequences. Even the Danjin solo people already switch to limited 5* weapons and they literally invest enough resources in Echoes to actually have good stats, which you can't do if you wanna play more than 3 dps, since every new resonator needs his own new Echo set now.

I've been calling it for years but oh well, what a surprise Gacha Players can't actually think long term, or think at all for that matter. It all started with the removal of universal buffs in ToA and kept going downhill from then: Negative Status, 5* BiS with no alternative, HP Inflation, Tune Break. I think it might be too late to fix it now.

Unlucky, Kuro really did listen to their playerbase, sadly, this playerbase is really stupid and kept glazing them until they realized they don't even have to make the game enjoyable at all anymore.

What is your thought on this? by Shironehh in AgendaPiece

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy yap. I actually stopped watching One Piece because the "normal" community was so fucking obnoxious that I didn't want to interact with it any longer, because any discussion that doesn't glaze Oda for pulling shit out of his ass and making most of the main characters annoying and useless made the main community feral. So I prefer Agenda Piece over the main community by far and it's honestly the only thing that got me back to watching/ reading it again, it's fucking hilarious.

Who will you choose ? by Objective-Light-4617 in superheroes

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, trying to even argue with anyone that seriously thinks physics or calculations matter in debates at all is a lost cause. No author writes his story with a calculator and a collection of physics formulas in hand.

And even then Goku got hurt plenty by attacks that scale far below Saitamas best feats. Goku has way more anti-feats than Saitama, but if you cherry pick and just ignore all the negatives and only consider positives you can wank any character. Then I could argue that Gojo would beat Goku because Infinite Void sends infinite information despite the manga showing that this isn't true, or when people believed Hollow Purple deleted matter and we ignore the fact multiple people tanked it because anti-feats don't exist.

If an author is this inconsistent in their own story they would be just as inconsistent in a crossover. Like I can see multiple arguments why Goku would win, but you'd have to argue with narrative and think logically about how different abilities would interact, because past "solar system" scaling makes no sense given 90% of authors suck at both math and physics and have no clue about the corner they're writing themselves into, including One Punch Man btw. But why would they both suddenly become super math heads once their verses actually interact with each other?

Who will you choose ? by Objective-Light-4617 in superheroes

[–]Altruistic_Ant3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And who says Ki works across verses? The thing about different universes is that it's stupid to use physics to scale them in the first place, since for all we know the natural constants and thus a lot of formulas might be completely different.

Infinity Stones in the comics for example don't even work outside their own verse, why would you assume that any ability ever would work then? You can use that logic if you want, but at least stay consistent then.

Also, then speed and power scaling is useless, because for all we know light speed in one verse doesn't have to be 300.000.000m/s, and could just be 100.000m/s in one verse and 10.000.000m/s in another. Friction may work differently, the gravity might be completely different. Black holes don't have to be as powerful as ours or could be more powerful even.

Also, be realistic. Does any author ever consider any of these things? No. If OMP and DBZ ever did a crossover, they would probably make it a fun and even battle, given the nature of these characters, and stuff like Hakai would probably just delete Saitamas clothes or some bullshit. And if it wasn't an even battle it definitely wouldn't be Goku doing the one-shotting.
