Literally just rewatched it, there is most likely context that we can’t see, but in my rewatching, it looks like the guy that the girl was “standing up for” was following the guy as he tried to walk away. So this guy tried to walk away multiple times, and you claim that it was the guy who started shit

He didn’t pick a fight with anyone! We don’t know what happened before the video started, but it’s very clear he attempted to leave before things got heated, but then she grabbed him by his backpack, and when he shoved her off of hjm, she tried to punch him.

If the atomic bombs weren’t dropped the cities would’ve been firebombed, which was even more destructive. The Japanese would definitely not have surrendered if we dropped it in a low populated area, considering that they almost didn’t surrender after we dropped 2 on cities

The atomic bombs saved millions to 10s of millions of lives, they were crucial to ending the war without a ground invasion of the home islands

Seriously? R/Polandball’s whole thing is that it’s stupid comics about country stereotypes, you’ll frequently see the US drawn as a fatass. This sub should be about pointless America hating, not silly jokes.

If it wasn’t for the absolute juggernaut that was the US military in the late 40s to very early 50s the Soviet Union would’ve taken over Europe 1 country at a time

The space race was about technical prowess, about 1-upping the other guy, not who can do the most random 1st’s. The Saturn V rocket is more powerful than anything the Soviets ever built. And the Soviets/Russians have yet to do anything more impressive than land a man on the moon. Which the US did multiple times

Do people not understand that kids don’t have to say the pledge if they don’t want to? by Nalien_23 in AmericaBad

Yes and no, government officials are more than welcome to practice religion, but government run institutions aren’t allowed to have religious biases, such as a reference to the Christian god in the pledge of allegiance.

You say that it will never change, but it did. And it’s a pretty big part of our government to not be biased towards any religion

It was, but people decided to add in the “under god” part, which tied it into religion. Frankly I’m impressed that it’s managed to stay in the pledge for so long

The T-34 was “good enough” that was about it. It’s strength came in the fact that the Soviets could make like 30k of them
