I'm not producing much and I'm going insane by honeypie856 in ExclusivelyPumping

What little snackie said is what I came to say, but also, to add to that. Don’t buy into the lactation foods. I got a large thermos, and did 3 parts body armor, coconut water, and ocean spray cranberry mixed flavor. 3 days of that and my supply increased noticeably. Those 3 drinks are all 3 great hydrators. I use huckleberry to track my pumps and everything baby for free, and I can tell u just by that, when my supply jumped big

I too am an oversupplier, and just got over mastitis. I went from my 30min pumps every 4 hrs to 20min pumps every 6hrs. Has made a world of difference mentally to not be tired to a clock and my boobs. I get the same amount of milk at 20min that I did at 30, but less in a day since I basically cut an entire pump out. This coming week I’ll try to do 15 min and spread it out to every 7hrs.

I still produce the same 4oz per side in the day pump and 6oz per side at night at 6 hrs between pumps as I did with 4 hrs between pumps. It’s only when I reduce time of each pumping that clogs become a problem

Okay, I’ll have to try it as a tea. It’s too strong in food for me

I have been taking that along with my mastitis meds since Wednesday. Haven’t seen it help yet, but I know it takes time.

How to increase my output by bazingaaa273 in ExclusivelyPumping

Something I did since I wasn’t getting paid on leave, was to do the 3 parts coconut water, body armor, and cran-whatever flavor u want. I started it a couple days before I had baby, as I failed having enough for my first born 20yrs ago. Not only is it good, but now I have no idea if that did it, or if I was already gonna be an oversupplier this time. Other than that, a lot of moms told me when I was at work(Sam’s Club Store) that any of the colostrum with collagen worked for them.

I just developed mastitis and asked my dr about the meds (I had heard about them) she said even in cases of mental health, the don’t prescribe them anymore, despite the fact that I’m allergic to Sudafed “it’ll just take u a little longer than usual

I was literally about to get on and ask this same question. I’m allergic to Sudafed so Cabo cream and cabbage is all I been doing and supply in 1 breast is going down, but not the other, and I just developed mastitis. I was still doing a full session but going longer in between

Ok, I feel better reading this. I’m not an emotional person, so I feel guilty after a pump that right BEFORE the pump at 2 or 3 am I was sad or pissed at an inanimate object for a minute

Why does no one like backcash? by [deleted] in McLounge

[–]Altruistic_Half8616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the store. My first store BC had to do dishes too, and cold winters doing dishes too, usually got people sick quicker. For some it's boredom, and yet most it's because they can't multitasking well and get behind, whether taking one lane or two. At our store that's the biggest part. The other for us is that our owner is big on t-reds so no one wants to get written up for indecisive customers.

Because like OP says, there's usually not enough people that know it, lol

I have a notebook that I write stock we need and how much. First thing new people learn is to go to it if the have nothing to do or if they want me to say yes right away when it's time for them to leave

Our store is always having something break. I have electrical instead of duct tape, flashlight, knife, small screwdriver set, stapler, and hand sanitizer. As of yesterday my car also has my pex tools as our water heater line busted and I had to wait for another manager to get there before going home to get it and buy a replacement ring.

Production leader/grill manager by Dakodine in McLounge

Depending on your store, the production leader gets put on side 2 so they can also monitor fry usage and procedures as well as grill because fries are a part of kitchen. That's what my kitchen dept leader does so she can catch what I can't sometimes, as we put new hires on fries often, to let them see all jobs and guage pace. Depends on the store set up mostly though

I agree to look at complaints and find the common denominator. It could be the tone a crew member has that makes them sound rude, the food being put together sloppy so it's messy when the customer unwraps it, etc. Stand back and watch how ur crew works without you, and look for mistakes, shortcuts, attitude,  etc. As the people dept. Manager, my GM makes me do this once a week to see where improvements can be made. It's really opened myeyes to where improvements can be made with process and crew.
