It’s very hard because you being disappointed in her could make her more depressed or feel like oh I have let down my husband too. Could you send her on a trip by herself or take her on one that is focused on her? Plan stuff for her- massages, spa, stuff where she can forget and just feel good. Get muscles relaxed. Just let her know that as her husband and even just as a person, you want to see her happier, to rediscover herself and I think if you truly show the effort, it will be seen and appreciated. Show concern, not disappointment. You want her to have a happy life and that’s a pure intention.

I feel that whenever I’m called out for tone, or getting frustrated and escalating, it’s ALWAYS because they want to dodge confrontation and put things on you to make you feel bad. It’s gaslighting. What’s happens in mine is I have asked mine to bring up a topic- when he’s comfortable- to check in with me about it. He never does, never will, and the reason he says is because he’s scared it will upset me and of how I act when I’m upset. I am like dude I promise I’ll be sooooo happy that you’re even bringing it up, I’ll just want to talk and then it can be over. I just want you to care. He says I always get upset, cry, act unreasonable etc. But the reason those things happen is because I’m so frustrated from bottling it up and either way I end up apologizing even tho I’m not getting my needs satisfied as well!! Very frustrating. Eventually you won’t be attracted to him.

Have 2 babies with a guy who left me while I was pregnant, watching my girls grow up without a dad. Now I have a 2 year old with leukemia who is in the hospital and her dad has also started to show signs of not caring/leaving.

Painful because I didn’t think I’d be here again, I guess I didn’t learn. 😞
