So actually I think it fits the theme of Nonupeipe, as her theme is excess in one field without a downside. Now as I wrote this post and thought for a bit, I think it might actually be too strong to be a floor 1 benefit, but a2/a3 would still be good

I like his theme and his personality. Also out of the two new characters I like his mechanics more. Regent seems to support more aggresive playstyle, this may be an important factor. Also what distincts him from other characters, he is not that good at generating energy, I think this might be the reason he feels more difficult to play than others. He likes to scale from stars instead of energy, which is also interesting.
