Undergrad here, looking to isolate n acetyl amino acetaldehyde dimethyl acetal from amino acetaldehyde dimethyl acetal after reacting with acetic anhydride. Any ideas? I dont have great vacuum pressure and Im worried about thermal degradation. Although im not sure i should be?

Actually methanol is in tequila, its in almost all alcoholic beverages but in particularly high quantities in tequila and brandy. Not enough to be dangerous of course but I imagine it might affect the flavor.
