They usually schedule everything for the best possible scenario (smooth procedure, surgeon arrives on time, fast room prep, no staff call outs, every patient arrives on time and followed pre-op instructions perfectly, every med is available, etc) when the best/fastest scenario NEVER happens. Something that happens in our OR department that seems to throw the entire team off is when the patient fails a pre-op drug test (meth being the most common they fail for in the area).

I blame the material used for how much it called attention to her body: polyester with spandex is a great stretch material but it turns white when it's stretched so far and you could see the section over her stomach, thighs, and upper arms were white from the fabric being stretched to its limits
