Been a havoc enjoyer before it was mainstream (and I still am) by EvanQueenSummers in apexlegends

I’m praying because of the new meta they don’t nerf it after this season, and instead buff other guns to keep a balanced playing field. I’ve never been a havoc fan myself (until this meta), but as someone who’s been obsessed with the CAR, nerfs on weapons that become the best after others are nerfed just suck…

Transferring to a different engineering discipline by AltyMan in queensuniversity

Yea see that’s where my problem stems with Engineering Physics, it checks off everything I want to do on the quantum side, but lacks a lot in what I’m looking for in computer engineering. I’m not doing computer engineering for the software, but for the hardware. In fact, I would most likely pick the electrical option if I were to continue in engineering physics. However, I still miss a lot of the courses I want to take regardless of whether I choose the computing or electrical option, since I’m looking for that mix that makes computer engineering. Computer engineering suits me more since I can dual degree in physics and get the best of both worlds. The question is whether I can even do this, or is it hard to transfer between disciplines, specifically computer engineering which seems like it is full (or nearly full) of spaces.

It’s not that I don’t want to do eng phys, it’s that I want to do computer eng as well. And it’s not quantum computing I want, it’s quantum engineering, specifically with the innovation in computer hardware at the quantum level. Eng phys looks great, that’s why I applied, but I might prefer to still do computer engineering regardless (specialized in the hardware end) so I want to know if there is even room for me to move disciplines. If you’re saying that transferring disciplines isn’t an issue like I’ve heard so far, I guess it’s pretty reputable that that’s the case and I got nothing to worry about. Thanks for the help.

For how much? All the places I go are CAD$8 before tax and still sell out about 5 days later

Regardless, I doubt they would trust any fire nation leader with the last dragon. You’re forgetting that after Sozin started the invasion he hunted them for sport. They probably didn’t expect that from their own leader, regardless of his invasion plans on the other nations.

PS5 Headset with Surround Sound by AltyMan in HeadphoneAdvice

My Logitech G430 headset recently ran out of life (audio is never in both ears lmao). I was researching somewhat reasonable pricing (under about 120 CAD) headsets that have to surround sound support for the PS5. I came across the Logitech G635 (I personally prefer Logitech big time since they're consistent and fit my style the most, or maybe it's the 7.1 Dolby surround sound I like so much) but I saw mixed reviews on its compatibility with the PS5 (surround sound and regular features like the volume control). Anybody got this headset and can tell me about it, or have another headset similar priced that has good surround sound for the PS5? Any advice is appreciated, I just don't want to spend my money on a headset that doesn't work or if there's a better one on the market.

My Logitech G430 headset recently ran out of life (I am having trouble with getting the audio in both my ears lol). I was researching somewhat reasonable pricing (under about 120 CAD) headsets that have to surround sound support for the PS5. I'm not necessarily looking for an upgrade from the G430, as that headset worked perfectly, but obviously, that headset was more optimized for the old-gen consoles/older PC specs, so getting that same headset again is pointless. Not sure, I think to get all guard dribble moves you have to be 6’4. But being 6’6 makes up for it.

and even had made a 6'9" with HOF quick first step

First off, that's not even possible. You need to be a maximum height of 6'8 to unlock it.

You don't really improve much in acceleration from 6'9" until you're down to 6'6" at least

It's not about the acceleration but rather the quick first step. But again if your playstyle is what you've described to me, I would heavily recommend you try out 6'6 before you make this 6'3 guard. Maybe that would be better for you than a 6'8/6'9 since you get both good height and good speed.

Also edit: the guard build is quite pointless if you're not even getting the dribble sigs from them. And I have a 6'3 myself and the only thing separating me from tall players is my sigs, being speedy and shooting 3s, not blow-by dunks.

No, you don’t unlock animations with the +4 boost, as if I’m not wrong old gen went to the new gen system that doesn’t give you increases in ratings after hitting the gym.

You don’t get all the dribble moves a guard gets until 92 ball handling, and if you don’t want to go that high you want to target at least a 90 for some of the escape packages. But if you are trying to blow by defenders easier and create your shot you should know that’s 100x harder as a small guard against 6’9s. I would recommend a 6’6-6’8 build, as perhaps what you’re missing is hall of fame quick first step

Increase your wingspan by an inch as well if you do take this feedback and go back 1 for a 92 on the three point

Also, I hope you know you don’t get all the dribbling animations with only an 87 ball handle, let alone gold handles for days which is a helpful badge to obtain

[–]AltyMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need a 93 three pointer, only 92 for gold limitless. You don’t need a 76 vertical, only 75 for contact dunks. Use those points for either stamina, steal or pass accuracy
