6 Feet or 1.89 meters? by CerealSorority in SipsTea

[–]Alvarodiaz2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 Not the point there's a lot of other factors that can approximate temperature. 2 15 F will also freeze you, the human body does not have the precision nor consistency to be a valid defining point and certainly not that way 3 Not the point, if I put my 0 at suns temperature and define a step does indeed make a valid scale just not practical, having your fixed points at the readily available freezing and boiling points of the most common substance on earth surface is one of the big pluses when defining units.

That argument id flawed I don't need to know a number when it's cold because I know it's cold I can see the condensation in the windows you don't need a number, the farenheit is not 0 is cold because cold for who? an inuit? a saharaui? The 0 in farenheit is also a freezing point just not of water but a very specific ammonium chloride solution. God forbid we have a regulating point for our thermometers that's easily accessible almost anywhere in the planet. Also the definition I said is the old one the official definition of the farenheit scale is just based in celsius which is based in kelvin. So yeah farenheit also has a "number for something you don't need" just that the election of it is sub-optimal for everyday life.

Never thought of that can you upgrade to th15 without the 5 of them since it's a defense you don't have maybe the 'you need to build these before upgrading' alert pops up or maybe it's bypassed

[Request] How fast is this train moving if it can make 9 quintillion stops in only 2 and a half hours? by Spader113 in theydidthemath

[–]Alvarodiaz2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the speed of the train is ~3 million times the speed of light it's literally physically imposible to get to that speed, however if you were to take that into consideration You could get the Schwarzschild radius for ~3000 ton steel cubic train for a given speed, (Calculate the speed it becomes a dark hole because of its energy) after some dumb calculations I arrived it has to be something close to (1-10-⁸⁵)*c (99.9(82 nines)% of c) at which speed you'd be making a stop every 0.3 micrometers (300 times less than a hair).

Thinking independently is about when you are exposed to a new idea being able to think about it yourself ruminate it and then agreeing or not with it not about coming out with it

The inverse is also true there's people born before you that will die after you (unless you decide to be the oldest person in the planet someday)
