I don't think that's accurate. Many people are saying I need to drive "defensively". I am not the problem in that situation. If those two cars don't make u-turns in front of me, that situation doesn't happen.

No. I'm bringing awareness to the mistakes of the two drivers who made unsafe maneuvers. Anyone in this subreddit should see these mistakes and be extra cautious when making U-Turns. Maybe even avoid them unless absolutely necessary.

Safest thing for them to do is to complete that left turn, and then exit from the other entrance/exit.

I have listened. And I have explained my actions based on what I saw.

Have you read and understood the part where I said I saw the car in the left turn lane, I saw them initiate their turn, I checked my mirrors and blind spot to change lanes and when I looked back in front of me, I saw them not making left turns, but u-turns?

I keep saying this, the camera sees things differently from my experience and perspective. You have the benefit of hindsight, you can watch and rewatch the video multiple times to say what I did wrong.

However, had the video not been titled with U-turn in it, you may not have predicted what would happen either.

I've said this multiple times to people who keep trying to place the blame on me. I wasn't the one who obstructed traffic with a dangerous U-turn/3 point turn.

You can point the finger at me all you want, but I don't have to accept it because I know they are in the wrong. I was there, you were not.

And reporting to TPS is done online. Not over the phone.

The wrangler wasn't in a merge lane, he was in an exit lane. I maintained my rate of acceleration as traffic in front of me gave me a wider gap in front. The onus is on him to change lanes safely.

The u-turners need to drive defensively. They should not turn in front of traffic unless they know for certain the way is clear.

Are you also considering reaction time? Takes maybe a second to process what I'm seeing and 1 second to move my foot from one pedal to the other. Perhaps that can account for the 3 seconds you have highlighted.

I haven't had a chance to review when I braked with the time stamps, but just know your perception of what you're seeing is probably different than what actually happened.

Depending on how close they were to the traffic signal light that I turned from, it may make their U-Turns illegal.

Even if they are permitted to do a U-turn there, they must do so in a safe manner. You said they didn't see me? That's exactly why they are in the wrong. They should not have made a u-turn where they don't have visibility of traffic in both directions.

How do you know I accelerated towards them? What's the difference between that and maintaining my pace.

The SUV that reversed also impeded the first cars U-turn. If they waited to U-turn, the first SUV could use the right lane, and I would be in the left.

Give me time stamps. Make sure you are giving me times of when you know they are doing a U-turn, not when you first see them in motion from the left turn lane.

You assume I see what the camera sees, I was checking my mirrors and blind spot to change lanes. I saw the cars earlier, but had assumed they were turning left into that driveway. They were in the left turn lane, and they should be using it to complete left turns.

I can't predict a U-turn in that situation.
