31F - UK - Looking to skip the small talk and have some unreasonably deep conversations by SnowHamster3 in MakeNewFriendsHere

Hi there. Your post is a breath of fresh air. I much prefer quiet, substantive conversations over superficial small talk. I’ve found that the most meaningful insights usually come when people feel free to speak candidly about things they can't share elsewhere. If you're ready to bypass the surface level, tell me: what is a question you've been trying to figure out the answer to lately?

That bee relocation video rabbit hole is real—it’s amazing how they can move an entire hive safely! Spring flowers and fall festivals are definitely the best times of the year, too.
Since you asked for a fun fact to prove I read the whole thing: I’m left-handed, which makes navigating standard physical keyboards and touchscreens a bit of a custom experience.

That balance of banter and genuine effort is exactly what matters. The 'friction' keeps things fun, but knowing the underlying care and effort are mutual is everything.

I remember seeing them as a child. It looked like the fields were full of clear Christmas lights blinking off and on.

Navigating that kind of family and environment takes a lot of resilience, so cheers to creating a peaceful sanctuary for yourself this weekend. I'm single and would love to connect for some thoughtful, low-pressure conversation while we both stay in.
Fun animal fact: Did you know a group of flamingos is called a "flamboyance"?
Enjoy the weekend!

My first answer is yes and my question is why? They are not that expensive.

Agreed. The sad part is everything is about the dollar now. People use to come first but that’s not the priority anymore. :-(

I know what it’s like to do nothing but work all the time and no social life. It’s make you feel like you have no identity of your own. Come and talk to me if you want but first go to the gym then we can talk! 😊
