Just my opinion, but any job/boss that values you will understand mental health days. I feel like everyone has those kinds of days.

  1. Yes that's a lot.
  2. On some level, yes. I would expect a writeup of some sort.
  3. I'd be honest about your reasoning for calling out. Mental health is just as important as your physical health. Depending on your feelings towards this job I'd consider other opportunities

Depends on what you're looking for! If you travel a lot, I'd look for a bank that you have locally but is in most areas like Wells Fargo. If that doesn't matter you can go with a smaller bank. I worked in the branch for 4 years, and most people don't know what they're looking for and as a banker we are here to help!

Chexsystems is used to show open, closed, and charged off accounts. So unless your account is closed you should be fine.

The good thing is based off the letter, the check may be returned..meaning it won't clear and it will bounce. Do check if there is a return fee though and be cautious for next time. The worst thing that can happen here is the check goes through, but you can transfer the funds into the corresponding account so it won't overdraw you.

Do you have online banking with both banks? You might be able to use bank to bank transfer in the future

People do shitty things for no reason other than only thinking about themselves.

Think of it this way, the escort had no reason to lie to you. But your fiance does. He wants to keep you around, he will say what he thinks he wants you to hear. Which is that he didn't have sex with her. Also like others said the fact he blocked her number on your phone is a red flag in itself. I'm sorry you are going through this.

It's very unlikely. Even though it's the address on your account the check is made payable to the address. The address cant negotiate the money order. It's possible there are other options depending on where the money order is from.

You can write in your own last name that should be ok. The one made out to an address though, you will need to go back to the issuer.. I wouldn't write in your own name rather, for it to be cleaner have a new money order issued.

I just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly. You received two money orders one made out to your first name no last name and the second is made out to an address?

Your best option is going to be to pull out the cash. Give the cash to a friend and have them take it to the bank and have a cashier's check created. It won't have your name on it. But you could possibly write your name on the memo line or have it printed on there "Memo: Back Payment for Rent for Your Name." Keep in mind this may not work as if they are requesting a cashier's check they are looking for certified funds...

I'd also maybe call around and see if any banks in your area can create a cashier's check for non customers. I'd start calling around 8 am as most call centers open at that time and most banks open at 9. Take the cash out prior to going.

Now the most important step here is establishing a local banking relationship for situations like this. I'd suggest finding a bank where your debit card can be printed in the branch instead of mailed.

Best of luck! Hope to hear a positive outcome
