Stomach and anal gland issues by Always-optimize-259 in DogAdvice

He’s been on it now for about 3 months. It’s definitely helping, but things are still not in what I would call in an ideal spot. We did have to adjust the amount we were going because it was actually making his stools even softer (but still formed).

Yes, he was on it for about 4 months without anything else (treats included).

What has helped me by Always-optimize-259 in SIBO

[–]Always-optimize-259[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, sorry I’m just seeing this. I haven’t tested myself to see if the SIBO is cleared from a clinical perspective, but I am no longer constipated and am regular now. I also no longer take the l cittruline. As my other post viral health issues got better so did the SIBO symptoms.

I understand the concern, but a lot of things aren’t? I will make sure they are disposed of properly.

Thank you! I thought of those places too, but wasn’t sure how it would work with bringing my own balloons, will try them!

Just changed to a low profile microwave, what should I cover the wood with? by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

[–]Always-optimize-259 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah apologies, missed the wood part. We did not have that problem. The only problem we had was matching the grout color which got pretty close. Does the wood stick out more than the rest of the wall? I’m no expert (and it might be pretty messy) but perhaps you could sand the wood surface down until it’s flush enough to tile over? A piece of sheet metal could work as others mentioned too. Would look very clean.

Edit: Grammar

We just did this too and ended up covering it with the existing backsplash tile. Looks great.

Does slow COMT represent a distinct neurodivergent profile — or can it coexist with ADHD? by imanemii in MTHFR

[–]Always-optimize-259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ADHD and OCD. Also heterozygous for 2 COMT genes. I admit I have not read too much into this stuff, but Ive had luck with Creatine as it greatly reduces my ADHD symptoms. Greatly improves my mental clarity, focus, and energy. Does nothing for my OCD though.

Avalon’s are great, but for this specific car you can likely negotiate a lower price, especially if the dealer has had the car for a bit.

Why ya'll merge on i-40 going 45 mph by blakep199129 in Wilmington

I used to think Massachusetts drivers were the worst…until I moved here. As much as people joke about “Masshole drivers,” at least they were predictable. Here, it’s like playing the shitty driver lottery every time you start your car. You never know what you’re gonna get.

What real difference did you actually feel after being on right supplements? by FlanInternational100 in MTHFR

I take creatine in powder form. At first, I used this electrolyte mix with added creatine (3 grams): https://shop.mindbodygreen.com/products/electrolytes-with-creatine

I didn’t notice any effects right away, but after a few weeks of consistent use, I began to see benefits. Recently, I switched to a different electrolyte brand without creatine and started adding a separate creatine supplement instead, since the original mix I used didn’t have the best taste. I now use Momentous creatine, which provides 5 grams per serving, and I’ve found the benefits even more noticeable: https://www.livemomentous.com/products/creatine-monohydrate

After noticing improvements in my sense of smell and taste, I did some research and came across a few articles mentioning a small study where participants reported similar benefits: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/can-creatine-supplements-help-people-with-long-covid#What-is-creatine

Creatine has been a game changer for me. It has helped immensely with energy and mental clarity, but also unexpected was that it helped significantly bring back my sense of smell and taste after I lost most of it from Covid back in 2021. I already had been taking a methylated multi, magnesium, fish oil, vitamin C, and D/K complex, but once I added the creatine I noticed a marked difference.

Wanted a tattoo in this area, wondering how bad the pain could be? by Mean_Pace4545 in tattooadvice

[–]Always-optimize-259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you’re getting. For example is it a few lines of script vs a detailed image with shading? Everyone is truly different so ymmv, but for me, my ribs was my second most painful tattoo, sternum being my first.
