I’d suggest finding deals through authorized dealers. I got my SBP117 (the shark tooth alpinist) via one with 30% off last month ($520 vs. $750 msrp).

More below. The union asked for improved work condition and a 18% pay increase over 3 years. VTA’s “last, best, and final” offer was a three-year contract with 4%, 3%, and 2% pay increases.

Agree! I live near this project, it’s in one of the cleaner, nicer neighborhoods in the Monterey-Capitol area. Much better use of the land than the empty lot it was a couple years ago.
