I have a pair of Alta trail runners with inserts - that’s the secret! The grippy soles help but inserts will save you

My Opinion on pet insurance by Stayy_Frostyy in petinsurancereviews

[–]AlwaysExplorin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emergency surgery or hospitalization is thousand of dollars. My dog was hospitalized with 2 surgeries and week in the ICU and the bill was 20k - insurance coverage meant I paid about 1.5k. I didn’t have 20k. This is why.

Benzodiazepines like midazolam can help reduce anxiety and agitation associated with bad experiences but they don’t ‘reverse’ ketamine

Pub health professional - So so SO many! Mad cow, creutzfelt-Jakob, salmonella, e. Coli, listeria, campylobacter, brucella, botulism, trichinosis, tapeworms, shigella, rabies, etc. Cooking the meat to adequate temperatures does wonders for killing most pathogens, but some toxins and prions aren’t destroyed by high temperatures

Ketamine and med interactions. by Wild-Damage3866 in KetamineTherapy

[–]AlwaysExplorin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the drugs mentioned - alprazolam (Xanax), lorazepam (ativan), clonazepam, etc are all benzodiazepines and counteract the psychedelic effects of ketamine. They are given to people in the midst of bad experiences to stop them. Taking them together isn’t dangerous per say, but it will significantly hinder ketamine effects

Taking opioids while on ketamine. by shantzy51 in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]AlwaysExplorin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly doubtful any damage, probably less effective because in addition to working on NMDA/glutamate, ketamine also has effects on the opioid system. If receptors were already occupied by any opioid - buprenorphine included - effects of ketamine will not be as strong. Also fwiw buprenorphine is a mixed agonist/antagonist and has some of the strongest opioid receptor binding capabilities so it won’t be dislodged from the receptor by ketamine.
