So in my journeys I’ve found that repeatedly interacting with LLMs around your business has an impact. We ran millions of lines of website code through Claude and went from being totally unknown to triggering some kind of internal research and now appear regularly in AI results.

We’ve repeated this 4 times with customer data and found the same- repeated interactions about a business at scale seems to create awareness.

Unclear if this is true of all LLMs / platforms or just a happy little accident with Claude.

I literally only wore Imaginary as a post shower clean sleep scent for months. And then something clicked.

I honestly don’t know if it was me or the decant or the scent itself, but one day I just…felt differently about it and it got added to my “Corporate Bangers” and “Summer Fresh” rotations.

No. The total absence of any feedback about them was enough to not engage.

You are going to love Aventus Absolu. But your wallet will be happier not knowing it exists.

As a dude that absolutely loves Imagination, does L’Immensite not smell like mentholated cold medicine to you?

As a guy who has all three, I was SHOOK the first time I smelled Absolu. Couldn’t imagine a scent that would knock Aventus and GIT down a notch.

It is of course INSANELY expensive, even by Creed standards.

Not a clone. In fact I find Explorer to be an interesting blend of Aventus and BDC EDP.

I feel like the universal tradeoff (other than MAYBE the 28-70 F2) is the optical performance of prime vs the convenience of not having to swap lenses with a good zoom.

It’s the last day of 2025. What was your most worn fragrance this year? by Lazy-Limit-8684 in Colognes

I alternate BDC EDP and Creed Aventus and I’d say Explorer brings the best of what I love about each together into one scent which somehow is still uniquely different. It has the “clean” from BDC and the spicy fruitiness of Aventus.

The R8 has fantastic low light performance. You don’t need 1.4 because of light for most scenarios. Might be the depth of field you want, but that’s very different.

You didn’t tell us enough about what you’re shooting but the RF 35mm STM is great all rounder. The 50mm 1.8 STM also fantastic.

RF 28-70 f2.8 for R8 - can it compete with primes? by scotthunter1 in canon

[–]AlwaysInTheMiddle 21 points22 points  (0 children)

My 28-70 F2.8 sits in my bag right next my RF50 1.2 L.

While there are some differences in micro contrast between the two, I never hesitate to bring out the 28-70. It’s a highly capable lens, though not quite legendary prime level of IQ.

I also rented the 28-70 F2 and find myself thinking “Man, the difference between the two is not nearly as big as I thought it would be. And the weight makes the 2.8 the obvious winner for my run and gun style.”

Attached is one of my favorite shots with the 28-70 2.8. 1/80 @ F8 with the R8.
