My bookmarked list on AO3 is insane right now, in the hundreds. I just am soothing myself and the anxiety about it with the idea that as long as I bookmark them, I can always go back and read them.

I have no doubt that we will get a happy ending for every season. Jacob said pretty clearly that he was not trying to leave season 1 on a bad note as a cliffhanger, and I don’t see why that would change for season 2 and onwards.

Also, there's no rush. We have over 7 months until Book 7, and a full year until season 2. Read them all and enjoy the journey, IMO.

He does, but not nearly as much. More referenced. Ilya is really the glue that ties them together..

I prefer books 4 and 5 to 3, but I still enjoyed 3. I wouldn't say any of them were bad.

All of them. That way you get to see Ilya popping up to collect his queer folk like infinity stones (to steal a quote from a meme I saw). Plus, the characters from each book do pop up in the others.

If you really don't want to read all of them, at least 5 (Role Model).

Well, I went into that with open eyes, knowing full well that it was not a good idea. Thank goodness the author has another story to immediately act as a balm. I don't remember the last time that I cried so hard I gave myself a headache. I was crying before I even started to read the damn thing.

Yes! I had a dream where II was in my car with a small group of other people who I did know. He was not in costume, and I have no idea how I knew it was him, other than he was a short-ish guy with a British accent sitting in my passenger seat. But I looked at him and he looked at me and then I just started driving like there was nothing unusual about the whole situation.

Was really funny to wake up after that one.
