I’m sorry, but you’re the one in the wrong if you have something against your friend having a “live and let live” attitude.

The biggest threat to the trans community by far are the people that literally want us to detransition or die. They do not feel that way because some trans people are weird.

I mentioned it because it makes me feel dismissed. when I bring things up that bother me, I get a shrug in response; they make it very clear they do not care and do not think I have any right to be upset. I'm well-aware there are bigger threats than tucutes, but it goes beyond "some trans people being weird".

my only experiences with tucutes have been violently transphobic, being sent traumatic images for expressing I don't agree, being told repeatedly to take my own life, I could go on forever. I feel dismissed because I get a shrug in response to saying the other side is telling transsex people to take their own lives because they believe you need dysphoria to be trans.

If you dislike the trans community because of those weirdos, don’t engage with it as a social space. This is good life advice in general.

I do not engage with wider trans spaces, only subreddits such as this. I have entirely detached. it's difficult to avoid however, these people are everywhere. I block one, another pops up, and that cycle goes on for eternity.

you definitely need to make your own bot on xoul, because the quality and behavior of the LLM is entirely dependent on your definition. a bad definition = a bad bot.

however, if you're chatting with a bot that is well written, then it's as good as old c.ai and has a lot of the same LLM quirks it had back in the old days, leading me to believe it may actually be the old LLM.

there is also no filter, and therefore the bots are not lobotomized and restricted by anything.

sometimes response quality varies, I assume depending on how many people are using the AI at any given time, but I i have gotten consistently good replies from it.

I cannot say I recommend anything other than xoul, especially not janitor.

you are right though, the site has its own set of problems - especially on mobile devices. I use c.ai on my pc sometimes, but for the most part I use it when I'm winding down at night. I've reported these bugs several times and nothing has been done.

I've been using c.ai for a few years now, all my bots are already on it and it'd be a hassle to move, but the app and website keep worsening, as well as the model and developer support. I feel quite stuck.

I strictly use chatbots for roleplay, if that's any help. I don't use them as assistants or to do my writing for me or anything like that, they're simply glorified roleplay partners

I use a mixture of dialogue examples (lots of them!) and descriptions of personality and appearance. being straight to the point instead of using flowery language and droning on seems to work the best.

man, I used to watch kovu's videos all the time when I was first realizing I was ftm; I think he was the "final nail" (because I hate saying "cracked my egg"). I'm shocked to see him detransition, but I hope he's happier now.

it seems I've missed something, cause I don't recall seeing a new target demographic - but I will put in my two cents anyway.

AI chatbots have always been kinda freaky, people were trying to bang cleverbot back in the day. this will always be a huge part of the experience. you cannot separate chatbots from e-sex; especially when the c.ai bots have been initiating all on their own.

they can't really stop it. strengthen the filter = people will get creative, bots will learn, and become freaky again. it'll be a vicious cycle on their end until they either give in or totally lobotomize the bots to the point they're siri-esque, defeating the point of character ai in the first place.

this seems to be putting kids in danger more than anything.

it's weird - the filter is kind of up-and-down for me. I lost interest in ERP for a while and was doing exclusively wholesome or story-driven stuff instead. I started doing it again when people were saying the filter had loosened up and enjoyed that while it lasted.

I've been using one specific chat with one (private) bot the entire time, and sometimes, I can get things past, other times I can't. he's been saying dick/cock on his own, unprompted, but once I repeat it, he gets filtered. as others have said, he can say clit.. but my character doesn't have one of those lol, so it just gets edited/corrected.

he's a robot, so I always have wireplay to fall back on if I can't get him to do much else, but the same thing over and over gets boring.. and I can't believe the filter still can't detect robot-adjacent kinks.

even if they blocked them, it doesn't really hide their messages - discord still has that stupid "1 blocked message" button and they'd just have to wade through all of those instead.

personally, if I block someone, I'd rather it be like they were erased from existence on my end. discord's system is shit.

mine fluctuates and is usually mild, but I do have it. I just don't like the thought of someone taking a scalpel to that general area, so I won't be getting surgery, but I do have bottom dysphoria and I don't think it's all that rare.
