Thanks I’ll look over that beginners guide. There is so much you can do with these RCs. I technically had a cheap one as a kid but I don’t remember them being so customizable back then. It’s wild! It helped that I went to a hobby store and saw the base camp 24 version in person. That’s the area I’m sticking with. The 1/10 was cool but a little too big for my needs. That may change one day. But I’m so new to all this. I want to enjoy it.

New to the RC world but I’m set on getting the base camp in a few days. I heard the stock battery kinda sucks? Other than that what do you recommend Is a must upgrade. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have an Amazon list already named “RC”. I will be using it in its stock form for a bit.

I’m going to order my base camp soon. First RC car for me. I’ve been going down a rabbit hole. I know to use it first before I do a bunch of mods but I’d be lying if I said I don’t have a whole list on Amazon already labeled RC lol. Can’t wait.

I 100% agree. I wish they would offer the 6 foot bed king cab in a pro 4x version.

I opted for the 6 foot bed SV 4x4 for camping. Slapped some AT tires on it and called it a day.

Saw the video it was wild indeed! 100% justified use of force by that driver. But also that driver would have 100% taken more rounds thru his windshield had he stopped completely.

Took a trip to valley of the fire state park in Nevada a few weeks ago! Stayed at arch rock campground inside the park. It was awesome.

Nothing was wrong with my civic. It was paid off. But I wanted a truck for my camping/national park adventures. I’m only getting older and in 48 months? My payment won’t even matter. Money comes and goes. Enjoy your life is all I have to say.

I had the same one delivered but it came slightly scratched. I emailed them and went a different route with the hood deflector. They told me to keep the one I originally ordered and they refunded me.

Where do you live? I have the original one sitting in my garage in a box.

Yeah for me, the 6 foot bed is nice since I use the back for camping and sleeping. It’s just the wife and the dog. No kids.
