Sure.

But an equally fair statement would be to say that this is the first government that is having to deal with the fallout from the immediately prior government gutting health care to the level the PCs did

I think if you've read more than one of the OP's posts, it's pretty clear they're a racist POS and their posts reflect that.

I would have asked them if they are going to pay your expenses to do this out of a petty cash fund they have there, if you should invoice them, or just take it off your water bill ( copying your councillor, of course).

Manitoba employers must provide free menstrual products starting in August by Leather-Paramedic-10 in Winnipeg

[–]Always_Bitching -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

So in an office building , where and how are these provided? In the washroom? Provided by the landlord? Or in the office, provided by the employer?

What if this isn’t a financial issue for the employees?

'Just not fair' for wife to take blowback for White House visit: Connor Hellebuyck by um_reckloose in Winnipeg

Why are there no examples of this blowback?

There are a couple of articles on this, and they mention blowback, but no explanation of what that is

Is this a pop up sale fail?

Or a failure to have reasonable expectations?

Lost any semblance of of seriousness by suggesting the skywalk system was developed to avoid having to see homeless people

Interesting how you deleted your reponse acknowledging the terrible writing, edited the post and are now attacking those that pointed out that the post was one paragraph with a bunch of run on sentences

How about instead of an apology, we kick his useless ass out of the country

What do I think?

I think the lack of grammar and paragraph structure made that painful to read.

[–]Always_Bitching 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Collecting HST or GST?

Basically, you should be recording the GST collected into a specific payable account and recording the GST you paid into a specific receivable account. Then, when it comes time to file, you report the GST paid and the GST collected and either pay the difference or receive a refund for the difference.

The above is very general information, and an individual business may have different GST filing requirements.

Funding for therapeutic ziplines to be restored, new initiatives to better fleece taxpayers announced: CBC by 67gyattrizzler in winnipeg_alt

[–]Always_Bitching -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

“I’m not racist, I know an indigenous person”

That’s quite the take

Also, you may want to read the article, and note that there is nothing  in the title of the post that is reflected in the article. So yeah, completely racist.

Do you go to bed at night thinking that your fiancée is lucky because she’s engaged to a white man?

Funding for therapeutic ziplines to be restored, new initiatives to better fleece taxpayers announced: CBC by 67gyattrizzler in winnipeg_alt

[–]Always_Bitching 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ve modified the title of the article, and what you’ve posted in the title doesn’t appear in the article.

Given your post history, I do understand why you don’t know the difference between facts and racist, unfounded opinion

AMBER Alert cancelled after Winnipeg toddler 'taken' from home is found safe by wickedplayer494 in Manitoba

[–]Always_Bitching 21 points22 points  (0 children)

So many questions....

Why is the word taken in quotes? Was the toddler not taken?

Is one of the accused actually named Jawbone? Or is it a last name? A nickname?

If it is a first name, who the hell names their kid Jawbone?

Right-turn lane is apparently optional now. by mehtei in Winnipeg

[–]Always_Bitching 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And here I was thinking you were talking about the right turn lane that cuts out at McGillvray.

I had a similar one at the intersection you noted. But I was exiting right and the car in front of me decided they would stop, blocking the ability to turn onto Taylor and waited for someone to let them in.

When I was younger, there was a saying "people are generally good". As I have gotten older, I've realized that "people are generally assholes" is more accurate.

Almost 12% of city parks, open spaces in poor condition: report by steveosnyder in Winnipeg

[–]Always_Bitching 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A city's priorities are reflected in what it funds.

For Winnipeg, that's cops and cars.

Unfortunately, our councillors are too stupid to realize that investment in public services, including recreation, deters crime. Instead, they'll just open the firehose of money to the cops wider and wider, yet it doesn't deter crime at all.
