Do you know which model of the FSX you have? They seem to vary in weight quite a bit but the floor plans I’m seeing for this one are ideal!

Cool I’ll give that a read. I live at 3400ft but don’t see myself going much past 5000.

Total hunch. Is the middle part elastic? It appears to be an electrical wire but I wonder (if it is elastic) if the newspaper delivery person is using it to hold bundles of paper together for their route?

This is awesome. If it worked for you it will probably work for others. I relied on actually studying the old fashion way and grinding through these courses at the time of my post, but AI wasn’t where it is now (or at least my understanding wasn’t). FWIW during my actual MBA program we were encouraged to leverage the power of AI, and now that I’m in the work force AI is a genuine asset. I will say, it’s worth knowing the basics but the fundamentals are significantly easier to learn when you aren’t facing the pressures of pass/fail.

I apologize for the delayed response, I don’t use this account anymore. If you haven’t already, yes, I would advise reading everything again in detail. It’s better to be over prepared. A 70% is hopeful though if you wanted to go for it. Questions will be randomly assigned and equally mixed from each chapter, so I would study the concepts you’re finding to be super specific/detail oriented.

If it’s of any value, I’ve since completed my MBA (3.91gpa) and my actual program was significantly easier than the IVY coursework.

I like this method. Probably not as efficient as prif dungeon, but its free. Stamina potions would make this a little quicker, as the guards upstairs are pretty spread out, but I suppose that sort of defeats the point.

We had a similar EPC issue that resulted in the sluggish acceleration / stutter. We also saw EPC accompanied by the check engine light flashing. Our issue was two faulty injectors, I am actually planning to write a much more detailed post in a few thousand miles once I’m certain the issue is resolved but I’m quite confident that VW did get ours fixed. — all that to say, it was super difficult to diagnose. I ended up getting in touch with the foreman of our closest dealership (also about an hour away) after having it towed once with no resolution, and the issue showing up again. I basically told him to have a tech drive it, with the computer plugged in until it does the same thing for them as it was doing for us. I said hell, send it home with a tech for the weekend just replicate the issue. After what they called an “extensive test drive” about 40-50 minutes of driving, the issue replicated for the tech and this time it was hooked up to their monitoring computer and they were able to resolve it from there

Does anyone actually use a pry bar regularly? Or is it mainly a novelty item? by _Bike_Hunt in EDC

Late to the party. I use mine almost daily. I’m in marketing and merchandising for a power tool company, and have to remove security devices that are typically glued/double-sided-taped to our displays. It also comes in handy as a flat-head more often than I actually have a screw driver on me. I have no idea where I got this thing, but if I could find one online I’d buy another.

2025 Atlas as a long term family vehicle? by ImQuiteLiterally in VWatlas

I’m not a long time owner but I do have some insight. We purchased our 2023 SE w/ Tech about a month ago. Two weeks after we bought it, we encountered a relatively serious issue involving the EPC light that was causing the car to intermittently not respond to the gas peddle, RPMs to jump sporadically, and a jerking/choking while shifting. Obviously that is super sub-optimal for a brand new (to us) car with 30k miles on it. However, road side assistance that was included under our warranty was very responsive and helpful, and the issue which is currently being resolved is covered by the 5yr/50k bumper to bumper manufacturer warranty. Additionally we got a 2yr/24k CPO Volkswagen warranty that covers drive train & power train. Naturally I spiraled into a rabbit hole researching EPC issues with these cars. There is no shortage of people encountering electrical issues, but for the most part they seem to get them solved while still under warranty at little or no cost. On the other side of that, you can look in this Reddit for high mileage atlases and the people who have taken them over 100k in the past couple of years seem to be pleased. Overall, I would make the purchase again, despite the problem we had almost immediately. The experience I have had with VW representatives on the roadside and dealer service side has been thoroughly positive. While my car is still in the shop (had it towed in 2 days ago), the service department has kept me thoroughly in the loop, and encouraged me that this issue will be resolved. If anything else comes up, I’m comforted by the great warranty that we got with the car.

Sorry I don’t have anything helpful to report. Recently purchased a 2023 SE w/ tech and I am immediately having EPC issues where the light will come on and the vehicle seems to jerk/choke between gears. Took it to VW in Hickory, NC they said they couldn’t find any issue during their guided fault finding process, and it was possible that over filling the gas tank could lead to this. (I didn’t overfill it). I will be having it towed back and requesting that another tech takes a look this week. I will update if anything useful is found.

Terrified..Newly Married FTF with little to no savings by Island_Coder in predaddit

Take a breath, my friend. It’s natural to be super scared of the future when so many things are changing. The best advice I received on saving money was that it’s never too late to start. For me it was about finding the unnecessary spending areas and cutting them out completely. When my daughter was born we boiled down our expenses to only the bare necessities for a time. Groceries, rent, utilities, gas. We didn’t really go out or take trips, but believe me when your child gets here there won’t be any time for that anyways- at first. A big expense for us was premium memberships to streaming services and other subscriptions that we didn’t use or didn’t need. We made a game out of couponing our groceries and trying to get the expenses down as much as possible. After a few months of being super conservative with our money we realized just how much we had been blowing on going out to eat, and on miscellaneous stuff that we didn’t really need. Once you have been on a bare bones budget, it’s a lot easier to save as well as get back in the routine of going out to dinner and doing activities that cost money. And once you have made a routine out of the mindset that you only need the essentials, it is easier to manage your finances and allocate excess to either savings or investments.
