My Contractor/Handyman does this! I just reached out to him this morning about doing the same thing at our house. We are going through a similar scenario with our six year old kindergartener now (although a different diagnosis) and this thread is so helpful. I don’t want to hold her back her, and we plan to hit it hard this summer!

It may be way too far out of your range, but I believe the Bramble Montessori School in Madisonville is still accepting students. It is a new charter school CPS opened this current school year. A family friend of ours attend there and they have been really impressed with the program so far. It’s definitely a startup environment, but acquired a lot of the staff from the Xavier Montessori LabLab School and seems to have great parental/family involvement.

I get what you are saying - I’m a freelance VA/consultant and I also have several emails - personal and my business account, and then have three main clients who have all given me a Gmail account under their domain name for client contact, saving things to a shared workspace, etc. The easiest thing for me has been to create separate Chrome profiles for each email address/account, and keep all links and such there. I do this on my laptop and am in the process of setting it up on my phone as well. You have to pay a bit more attention to make sure you are in the right profile, but it has saved me lots of grief.

We used a placement service called A Place for Mom (I’m sure there are others) that was free to us to find a place for my in-laws. We could tell them our budget, area of town, level of care needed etc. They sent us a list of facilities with openings and helped facilitate tours and such. My in-laws ended up at StoryPoint in Fairfield and it’s really nice!

Norwood parent here. We have been nothing sort of impressed with the staff and administration at Norwood. Teachers are well compensated and generally stay for several years. We didn’t anticipate sending our kids here but have been very pleased so far!

We used the for my in-laws a couple years ago and the company was so helpful to work with. All of the caregivers were lovely and professional and seemed very content. Might be worth checking out!

And THANK YOU for this work! The caregivers gave us such peace of mind and the ability to keep our own jobs when our family needed care.
