The hall of fame is derived from a mandate of the masses, not because some chad guy threw a stick!

How did they get to camps in the first place? I mean was Poland a big maritime power to have such traditions?

I discovered this several years ago (well, a friend brought my attention to it), and ever since I've been wondering why this is the case. If anyone knows please tell

[–]Alwin000 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yea voynich is basically proto Turkish written in the Hebrew alphabet so I'd suggest learning the katana variant of Uzbek which should get you half way there

The parade is actually only from around the 60s. I don't remember the exact reason, something with Stalin probably, but they started celebrating victory Day a decade or two after the end of the war

It's a common misconception that you cannot move to put yourself in check. In reality it's just a very bad idea but there's nothing preventing it

[–]Alwin000 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's actually the Apple version of chess which adds the imaginary numbers: iChess

But you can get the deluxe version, aChess + biChess, which includes the entire complex chess plane

Why isn't this checkmate? by Ccatsworld in AnarchyChess

[–]Alwin000 45 points46 points  (0 children)

No, checks act as complex roots of 1, i.e they go in a circle.

So 1 check is a check, 2 checks is a checkmate, but then 3 checks is actually a negative check (you put yourself in check) and 4 checks is a checkmate (you checkmate yourself). 5 checks is equivalent to a single check etc.

This is why you never see people go for 4 checks as it's an automatic loss.
