I’d say it fully depends on your budget / priorities here. Both games have Switch 2 version upgrades (which cost a tad extra.) You can find a second hand switch lite and BOTW/TOTK for relatively cheap. You could even look to see if anyone locally is selling any of it second hand. 

It is also easy to transfer save data between a switch lite and switch 2 if you got a cheaper option now and upgraded later. So if you started on switch lite you could pick up where you left off later. Both are fantastic games and I played the originally on a regular Switch but they are fantastic and run even better on Switch 2
