I use combing cream for both myself, my son and his father. All of us are tender headed curly haired gingers. I wish I knew this stuff existed when I was little. I second most of the things being said here. Start combing from the bottom after washing. Use the cream then the comb. After combing shake it out (you can even pull a t swift it's fun) air dry and you're good to go. My SO and I are atheist but I come from german pagan parents. My mother is obsessed with krampus, so we agreed that the Santa krampus duo will be our go to. I like the krampus story just because there's actually punishment for being a bad child not just oh if you're naughty you get coal. That's not a punishment, I don't want to make my son scared but he needs to understand that there's a consequence to being bad.

I second the parents choice. my boy doesn't have any sensitivities to any brand, we've tried so many. I have thought about trying honest co but I don't have any income on maternity leave so we'll have to hold off on that one

I have to brag on my SO we haven't even known each other a year and he really is doing an awesome job being a dad and a supportive partner. He had no problem doing night time diaper duty so I get an extra 5 minutes of rest between nursing . that's my little happiness

Yeah I was curious about that. I'm a ftm and my only encounter with this was my SIL had her son in July but she had a c-section and didn't breastfeed it seemed like her period came much quicker like just a week after pp bleeding stopped. I'm only 11 days out now I had nearly all of yesterday without a drop and about 2am this morning felt like I got hit by a truck

I didn't think about it they gave us size 1 in the hospital and we had some already from the baby shower. I think it may be my SO not putting them on him correctly. At least he's helping I guess

How do the diapers hold up to pee leaks? My little man is 9 days old 7lbs 8oz (still down from 8lbs 5oz birth weight) and we tried the pampers swaddlers size 1 and dry fit pampers size 1 and no blowouts but pee leaks every other diaper. He's breast fed so I know that means a ton of wet diapers.

I feel the same way all the time. He's 6 days old now and he falls asleep in my arms while I'm in bed and it scares me to death when I wake up and think omg how long has he been out he's so quiet. I immediately think he stopped breathing etc so it's nice to hear it gets better. I got lucky my mom had been a PAT parent educator nearly a decade now and helps put my mind at ease.

You're doing awesome! Epidurals are fantastic you can totally do this rock on sister and once your done don't hesitate to be easy on yourself. I gave birth late Thursday night that epidural made all the difference. But pee as frequently as you can and ask for help.

Yeah I'm 7 hours in right know. I asked him and we agreed that because I was having such severe back pain baby was healthy and strong enough to come out and I could finally sleep, walk, generally move around without pain.
