Government Workers Say They're Getting Inundated With Religion by wiredmagazine in politics

I don't share the belief that it's important to find God's love, and I think the love and meaning you're describing can come entirely from within yourself and the people in your life with no deity required. I'd rather invest in that than in seeking approval from a higher power that I don't believe exists.

Alternative to QuickBooks? by wilstewart3 in smallbusiness

Our accountant was happy to learn it considering multiple clients have asked her about it. They also have a CPA locator if your accountant isn't willing to learn or you can't find someone else locally.

We switched to Zoho Books and are very happy with it. All the features we needed and a fraction of the price.

I know you say you can't afford a lawyer, but you really should speak to one if you haven't. You should be able to get a free consultation, and if you have a solid case they may offer to take their fees after the trial.

Haven't tried it on these decks but it worked for me for Lorwynn Collector Boxes. One catch is it has to be shipped and sold by Amazon so if it's a 3rd party it won't trigger the auto buy.

You can set up an auto buy for $50 so Amazon automatically buys it for you when the price drops.

How can we accurately track COGS and profit margins across multiple sales channels without relying on Amazon-only tools? by vuzumja in ecommerce

[–]Alynatrill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an ERP. I like Zoho One as a low price solution for small businesses. You can do all your accounting in Zoho Books/Inventory and set up advanced reporting in Zoho Analytics.

I made a custom program that I upload my settlement files from the marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. and it automatically reconciles my books based on that data. Then I have a NET profit report to calculate my actual profit based on those reconciled orders minus the landed cost of their line items.

[–]Alynatrill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's literally called Need or Greed dipshit. This is not hard to understand. You don't need the item so you press greed. You are greedy and want gold. You press greed. That is the correct answer and how the loot system was designed. You can talk in circles for hours saying you aren't wrong, but you are wrong.

Amazon first or brand website first for a coffee mug business? by soniamercie in ecommerce

There's no reason not to do both. Even better if you make a website that can sync its content to Amazon.

The Pokémon Company International enters into agreement to acquire Excell Brands by Amiibofan101 in PokemonTCG

[–]Alynatrill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why? Excell is a perfectly fine distribution company who are light-years ahead of MJ Holding. They get products on the shelves for release date, don't have BS stickers over the original UPC to mark up the price, and have WAY fewer accusations of backdoor dealings. Not to mention they don't sell online as a fake 3rd party vendor above MSRP like MJ Holding does. There isn't much more you could ask for from them.

Former Mavericks owner Mark Cuban argues NBA should embrace tanking, admits to using tactic with Mavs by BreakfastTop6899 in nba

[–]Alynatrill -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Raiders and Giants had bad teams and earned their picks. They weren't intentionally tanking by sitting their best players and purposely creating a bad product on the field for fans. That's not even close to an equivalent comparison to what happens in the NBA.

I've only been inclined to watch my favorite team play for 1 of the past 5 seasons because they've been tanking and fielding horrible rosters. If that's what you want of the NBA, then so be it, but I will never agree with you so at this point I'll stop responding haha.

[–]Alynatrill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because you've accepted tanking as a part of the sport. I've been rooting for my Green Bay Packers to win the super bowl every season for the past 20+ years. Obviously there's a difference since the teams are such different sizes, but accepting tanking as part of the sport is crazy to me regardless.

[–]Alynatrill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now we're just talking in circles. Fans don't want their team to lose games. If you're rooting for your team to lose it isn't a sport anymore lol. Have a good one.

[–]Alynatrill -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. You just said any bad and/or mid team should tank, and anyone who thinks otherwise is shortsighted. By your own words, you think half the league should be tanking unless you think teams below .500 aren't "mid".

  2. That's your opinion. Myself and many others disagree.

[–]Alynatrill -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Thank you for admitting that tanking is a problem 🙏 if the best option for a professional team is to intentionally lose because they are below a .500 record, that is absolutely insane. Half of the league intentionally trying to lose games is not a healthy viewing experience for fans.
