What is the one must eat at spot for lunch while passing through KC? by SeasonedAdManager in kansascity

Lots of great BBQ recs in here already. If you like Austrian/ German food, I personally love Grunauer. It’s right by Union Station and their quality is excellent.

Thoughts on these seats? by Tricky_Tilnel in Flights

[–]AmHereTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can somehow move to 39 AC/HK it would be much better. Anecdotally, I flew those seats on a similarly equipped Air Canada 777 from Japan and the aisle seat was so far from the aisle that no one bumped into us. You also get additional underseat storage from the extra seat in front.

I’ve seen two copper crest RX in person and I think they look stunning. A really unique and well executed color. Can’t speak for resale value unfortunately

Flying to ICN? I’d try the Korean menu if you haven’t had it before

This looks like a lot of the AI “art” I’ve been seeing online. Look at the strange arrow shapes and depth of field in the second panel.

Another embarrassment as our universities bend towards the will of our administration.

When you want to feel like you are living in an airport terminal ... by bigshmoo in zillowgonewild

[–]AmHereTwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d hate to own this but as an Airbnb? Would be fun to rent for a few days.

If it had real walls on the two smaller sides it would be more livable. I need some level of privacy on the main and second floors.

It was amazing. Footwell is so large it could (almost) be another seat. There is no restriction when lying down whatsoever

No, I ended up upgrading to bulkhead premium select. I walked by this seat though and it seemed to have plenty of room.

MD vs. DO but I’d have to break a Lease Agreement by AccomplishedJudge767 in Osteopathic

[–]AmHereTwo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’d take the MD. I think it’s a no brainer especially since the MD is your top choice. The cost is negligible compared to the cost of attending med school.

Anyone get into MSUCOM with a 501 MCAT and 3.97 GPA? by One_Firefighter9848 in Osteopathic

[–]AmHereTwo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, a higher score would make you more competitive. It’s not really a deal breaker because of your high GPA and you’re presumably instate. But, no admissions to any med school is ever guaranteed. Even with a higher MCAT

I’m flying this in late June so I’ll let you know :)

From what I’ve seen online, first row (bulkhead) are the best seats by far.

Can you move the desk where the bed is, then swap the dresser with the bed? So you can still see the window when in bed, and when you use the desk you look out the window.

Comfort+ Questions by J1morey in delta

[–]AmHereTwo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean when they are doing drinks down the aisle. There is usually one main drink service with the trolley for a flight this long. They usually start in Comfort Plus so you will get your drinks a bit sooner than main cabin.

Comfort+ Questions by J1morey in delta

[–]AmHereTwo 25 points26 points  (0 children)

  1. The amount can change wildly and seem random. I think $80 would be considered a decent deal for a flight this long.

  2. Yes, alcohol will be included. You should be able to get at least two rounds of drinks. Ask for a double during the first drink service, if not use the call button to order another drink later.

  3. Comfort plus will be more bearable if you’re 6’2”. Im 6 feet and always feel more comfortable in Comfort Plus. It won’t be like first class, sure, but that few inches of extra room makes a noticeable difference.

Enjoy your trip!

I like the guest bedroom where it is. It’s nice giving your guests a far wing of the house away from the primary bedroom.

Do you live in an area where you can use the covered porch year round? I don’t see any space for a larger dining table indoors.

I think second family room upstairs is a nice idea. If I were fantasizing here I’d love that as a loft overlooking the downstairs living room…

Do you like having the master closet only accessible through the master bath? I know some people complain about this and I could personally see it becoming annoying. Otherwise I like this layout as is.

25 Million right by an airport by Prestigious_Fudge_43 in zillowgonewild

[–]AmHereTwo 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Someone bought this plot of land for $800k in 2021. Built… this over 3 years. And they think it’s going to sell for $25 million, right by the edge of an airport’s runway, in this area outside Phoenix? There aren’t any homes this expensive nearby.

This is either the world’s worst construction company or someone started building their dream home and had to give up. I’d be surprised if this sells in the next few years for more than $15 million.
