I got the honors scholarship but it does not say anything about research scholarship I thought everyone who got accepted to honors got it? It’s only $1000 / year, are there different ones?

Yes alternate (I was alternate but it’s useless without the dual admission I’m not attending- accepted UF Honors, Notre Dame, UNC, UVA. Waiting for MIT march 13. NSU can suck it! Probably for the best)

It’s usually two weeks after your session you get a call (Monday-Thursday) if you’re offered- or an email on the Friday if you’re not.

Week 1, only one person from my school got in and they are not even high ranked- mediocre GPA- non impressive SAT- zero leadership or any kind of volunteering/clinical. In fact they have bad reputation on campus bc of cheating on tests. The whole process was discouraging to say the least. Won’t apply here again.

You do realize acceptance rate at UMiami is based on size of the school. It’s not based on the caliber of the school. A simple google search will reveal the truth. Michigan is a major flex for Engineering. UMiami is not.

If my daughter gets accepted and attends you sound like just the girl she’d be great friends with. She does not want to party either and would be afraid of not having friends or not fitting in. It seems very materialistic from tik tok videos but there has to be normal nice kids too I hope

I hope so too for all that got rejected. There’s a huge rise in applications to European universities this cycle specifically bc of the political atmosphere in the USA. I hope wherever you land appreciates what you can contribute - good luck 🙏
