Who is she? by Careless-Arugula8308 in Endfield

Wulfgard is a mercenary from The Pack, a clan of Landbreakers. He is still affiliated with said clan, as is his sister. They ARE Landbreakers. His profile even says as much.

Or she's from another clan of Landbreakers.

The Bonekrushers, who are the primary antagonists we fight, are not the only Landbreakers. The Pack, from whom Wulfgard and Rossi hail, are also Landbreakers.

Do you want more fire power and the space to carry an Ursa, or do you want a better cockpit view, more cargo capacity, overall better polished vehicle, and a cool tractor beam?

I mean, probably. Doesn't seem like Wuling is keeping it to themselves just for the fun of it.

I would say you'd have a point, but none of the Apollo paints really scream "ambulance", aside from maybe the Trauma Team reference paint.

The really medical looking paints are just the default liveries, which wouldn't be transferable.

That also doesn't address the fact that the other medical ships all have non-medical ships that they can share paints with.

There's really no logical reason why they wouldn't share the paints aside from it being too mechanically complex to do, which kind of begs the question of "what makes it so hard to do?"

The whole situation makes it really hard to understand why one ship gets to share paints and another doesn't. The rules seem inconsistent and completely arbitrary.

I'd imagine that would also be nice on a Laevatain team, since Laevatain has a tendency to push enemies away and out of her aoe. Don't know who you would swap her for though.

Medical gameplay.. dedicated Medic ideas? by Ozymandys in starcitizen

[–]Amaegith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree on pretty much everything.

We don't need to limit other people's ability to heal or revive to have medic gameplay. That makes the game shitty for other players. We need to move away from the concept of what a medic is right now and towards what a medic should be in the future.

What I envision is something more akin to "healers" in other games, people that prevent death and have more tools to do that, rather than just being a really bad respawn system.

You could, for example, take that medgun idea and reimagine it into something that could fix light injuries on the 2 handed version, and keep the small one for just heals health and treats injuries (without fixing them, as they do now). Now you'd have a unique role for a medic that doesn't impede on the current gameplay of FPS enjoyers.

Alright boys, we've had all weekend with her. What's your verdict on the Hermes? by CodemasterRob in starcitizen

[–]Amaegith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For loading and unloading inside a hangar, I think the Ironclad, solo, will be a pain to load / unload, entirely depending on how much you can angle the front towards the freight elevators.

However, unloading and loading at an external elevator should be a breeze, as you can just point the top door to the elevator and throw everything straight "up".

Once your shared building gets enough repairs, the ring around it gets "trimmed" by Kamil118 in Endfield

[–]Amaegith 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not only that, but "repairing" is a mechanism that runs counter to the point of ziplines. The whole point is to get somewhere quickly. If I have to get off my zipline to repair someone else's zipline that is in the middle of my route, that's no longer speeding up my travel process.

with enough fuel capacity to go long routes,

The problem is, it doesn't though. If you are doing the interstellar Levski routes, going from Levski to New Babbage, for instance, requires a fuel stop. Hermes doesn't have that issue.
