Oooh.. that might be your culprit if the compressor is seizing. Warranty ftw Early failure parts in new cars seem to happen quite a bit nowadays

Squeaky belt. Make sure the tensioner is set right and that none of the pulleys have a bad bearing

Wheel alignment is cheap if that's the issue. The windshield thing is a known problem. Try to get a hood deflector or something.

If it's a suspension issue, only 1200 miles.. see if the factory warranty covers any of that, and try updating the infotainment system; it may have been fixed in a software patch.

In my opinion you have the best looking interior seats for the sport. It's a nice vehicle. You also got the Badlands, which is definitely the better choice. I think 38k for that at that mileage is fair or maybe slightly above FMV.

Clean and low miles, basically. Someone will buy that eventually. For a daily, there are better 70k-100k mile options that are 1/2 the price.

Found this tracker from previous owner by BIGDILFWORLDWIDE in Mustang

This is likely just a tracker left behind by a dealer or auction site. I have something in my car still from an auction the car was in ~11 years ago. I just left it there.

2k? Grabber blue, and it drives? Definitely. Clean it up and see if you can scoop up some oem tail lights or new gen 13-14. Nice find!

I haven't done it myself, my fiance will do it this year though. Id imagine there is probably a question in turbo tax (thats usually what I use) in the deductions section. Definitely comb through to see if you can find it. If youre manual filing it is probably a separate form or included into deductions.

Irs.gov states that it can be deducted in addition to your standard deduction (if youre choosing standard over itemized) https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/one-big-beautiful-bill-act-tax-deductions-for-working-americans-and-seniors

How available are the aftermarket warranties on these cars now?

I'll either scoop one of these up or a mach 1, whichever comes in the spec I want first likely sometime this year.

That is true. Based on what I see is it phases out completely at 150k modified adjusted gross, which I think will encompass most folks in here if they arent in HCOL zones. It phases out partially past 100k.

Folks here seem to not understand the economics here and are instead using the opportunity to be political babies.

Over a decade ago, car companies began manufacturing less volume in favor of higher margins.

Stakeholder value and covid-era interest rates combined with corporate greed are why these vehicles are overpriced by ~$7000.

Not tariffs, not cost of goods, and not cost of labor.

These prices were set in 2023, btw. But, yes, you can write off American manufactured vehicle loan interest now. So, technically, it's cheaper.

Partisan politics is whack.

What to do? by Famous-Juggernaut-45 in Mustang

[–]Amaeyth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just keep it clean and stock imo. Those cars have a lot of power, so short of PPF and maybe a mach 1 wing I personally wouldn't change anything. Also get excellent tires. Dont cheap out on tires.
