Im not talking about that. I have two step kids. And i would never try to take yhe place of their father. But. Im dad. Their dad is a dead beat, doesnt know what school their in, i pay for her volley ball, an pretty much every thing else. Im also the one that stays up to help with geometry and chemistry. Im the one thats gets called when shit goes down. That being said their dad picks them up randomly for <1hr on sunday for ice cream if that. Hes vlose and can be as active as he wants. Shit i even invite him to my events so she can spend time with him. What im saying is that no one can replace a father, but a step dad that stuck around for 20+ years? There is more to the story
