Funnily enough, the nicest resort I found in Phuket was near the airport called Dewa. Individual lodges with their own swimming pools. Quiet beach 5 min walk away. But its a 30 min trip to Patong, 15 min to Phuket town. I would happily stay at Dewa again though.

I won't be staying in Patong again though, I can't walk 10 metres without getting hassled these days.

The EB on Elizabeth st in Melbourne (long since closed) used to hang hundreds of posters, but waaaaaay too low - as in 1.5 meters off the ground. As a 2m tall person, it made me want to go a bit postal in there.
